  1. It's a penalty, I don't see how anyone can think otherwise - just because he glances the ball before he clatters through the back of Alonso it doesn't mean it shouldn't be given.
  2. Burnley rested five or six players for the Europa League, didn't they? Very lazy and an easy cop out to attribute their poor start down to tiredness, for me. They aren't suddenly going to become world-beaters just because they don't have an extra six games to contend with.
  3. Can only echo the sentiments about Chilwell, he looks so much more composed on the ball and defensively he just seems so much more switched on. His cross to Kelechi in the first half was spot on, if he can start delivering that kind of end ball with any remote kind of consistency I'll be chuffed. Wasn't one of Southgate's staffers at the game today? Best English footballer on the pitch, he'll have Young's LWB spot for England by the time the season's out if he keeps it up. There were one or two occasions it was very apparent we have a bit of an inexperienced bunch here, just the odd bit of decision making that needs fine tuning, but that'll come on with game time. Mendy kept things ticking over nicely, he and Wilf just need to start getting the ball wide or forward to Maddison quicker. Didn't rate Southampton, they had a lot of the ball but bar Ings' effort I can't recall them seriously testing Kasper. They'll stay up though. Oh, and Moss was pretty much bang on in everything he gave this afternoon. In fact, the only non-debatable error I can think of was Wilf's foul on someone just outside our area early on, bit of a stamp.
  4. This is no better than Huddersfield or Bournemouth away at the start of last season under Shakespeare, and Claude has better players now than CS did then. Nowhere to hide for him anymore.
  5. You're 1-0 up against arguably the best team the country has ever seen and within seconds of scoring you're on a Leicester City forum?
  6. Can't understand the sort of perverse delight some of our fans seem to have when they see Mahrez benched. He gave us memories and moments we could have only ever dreamt of a decade ago. I'd absolutely love to see him showing full backs up. Wolves haven't been half bad today, Kompany hasn't looked right at all. Costa seems a real handful.
  7. He holds a German passport as well as a Turkish one, if memory serves.
  8. That is the oddest collection of players I've ever seen, too
  9. I don't even think he's a full back, to be honest.
  10. No, it wouldn't have.
  11. Ed's is notoriously average though - if the guy that runs Taps has kept the same food standards he's set then I think this would be more than a little better. Tempted to give it a go and intrigued to see what he's gonna do with Wygston's House, too. Let's be honest, it's going to brighten the area up a hundred times more than Lamplighters....
  12. More like Gail Platt in that pic
  13. More like Tony Gale in that pic
  14. Right back, just getting my magnifying glass out to look at the thumbnails Barry Hamm posted.
  15. It is a fantastic building, that little area of town is buzzing now.
  16. And to think I thought you were a steady poster.
  17. Above's like when a girl texts you but you're busy doing something else so you get a barrage of unreplied messages
  18. Surprised that Sheffield United fans think he's a money grabber, always came across as a consummate professional with us and played his part.
  19. Wasn't just on trial, was he? Thought he captained a youth side at one point?
  20. Lemon and Orange San Pellegrino really are bloody delicious aren't they?
  21. Big coup for Celtic, that. Don't agree with Matt in the sense that it's an "unfailable" job, especially given Rangers are now back in the mix.
  22. Ex Celtic goalie Pat Bonner Ex Leicester manager Mark McGhee
  23. Rangers have signed Jordan Rossiter from Liverpool on a freebie, he'll flourish up there along with Windass. Warburton knows what he's up to. EDIT - Oh, and it looks like Joey barton is set for them in all. He's a tit but he's too good for that level.
  24. Came in here just to comment on how well Kirsty is looking on Sky Sports News and found this, lord.
