any time any club has 1/2 decent games, someone on here, will claim they will be the ones to watch before a swift decline. (norwich, sunderland, southampton, preston, hull, blackburn, middlesborough ) i’m sure west brom will just be the next to look good for a bit before losing to bottom of the league 😂

I find his case a bizarre one. A truly elite striker who looked like he could play for any club in the world and not look out of place. A freak accident and his ability has all but disappeared. I understand when this happens to someone with an ACL or relied on pace and had consistent muscle injuries. But Jimenez was never about pace, he just had elite technical ability. I can’t fathom how you lose that after a head injury. Is it purely mental? Imagine if vardy cracked his head open at 29, I can’t imagine for a second that he would forget how to score. To be in a place where he can’t nail down a spot in a fulham side with no strikers is just bizarre to me. I can’t remember the last time he scored anything other than a tap-in. Interested in @TheBear’s thoughts on this. I remember suggesting he’d go to spurs for 20m when nuno went there and him laughing at me… you’d have snapped my hand off now. Such a sad story.

Jamie vardy is genuinely smarter than he gets credit for. He was on a booking for taking a shot after the whistle, yes it was petty but there’s a moment later after the goal where a similar thing happens, he looks like he’s going to do it again, and i think many would have. But he remembers he’s on a card and fakes it. Its just the little things like that is why he so rarely lets us down.

we win the ball back so damn well. But we’ve just not created enough, some decent bits of play but we are just not able to open them up. I think a goal is coming but as the game goes on, the worry about another snatch and grab goal from them increases. Can’t fault the effort though

curious what they offer to cancel. I got a one game refund after complaining about a few games not working and their formula for a refund was breaking the price by 46 games… despite around 50% not being shown on the service. so i guess they will do the same for any cancellations and probably refund based on remaining games .
