  1. What type of nonsense is this? Player with 1 red card in their career needs talking to?!? maybe go and have a word with Rodri or do we just want to put ref focus on someone from little old brentford?
  2. Obviously we don’t need him but pretty sure this was someone @Ric Flair suggested quite often. Leuven should make an offer
  3. Obviously I’ll judge them when this window is closed but I don’t think what they’ve been doing will work this time around. The old pro’s too good for the league is much harder to do in the championship and they could very easily find themselves laboured with a bunch of overpaid players. all Rudkin has to do is leave the fax machine off and keep the overpaid rubbish available to them
  4. I know he came through the academy but surely his contract extension is worthy of a separate article from the club? He’s been part of the first team for 2 years now
  5. The monga news is obviously unreal but I’m so happy we’ve not given up on braybrooke after one loan. he has some unreal talent and due to his his physical stature is almost certainly one that will improve simply with age. Personally, I’m hoping he can replace winks.
  6. You can hardly say they weren’t trying all season. They won a cup when they only faced 1 top half German team and man united who were the 16th best club in England. A cups always an achievement but there’s huge context needed here
  7. I still don’t rate him. Coventry were massively underperforming for whatever reason, he galvanized them but I don’t think their upturn was down to his tactics more a case of the players actually trying again. I bet he’s fired by December this season
  8. Nice fixture but I’m really not a fan of getting hammered in the last friendly before the season. Would much rather play someone like copenhagen where it’s exciting but you’ve got a chance to win it
  9. I wholeheartedly believe Brendan threw both of these games. I don’t think he purposely lost games after this didn’t work but I think the players likely knew and that’s why he could never get them back on side. in both instances we did not play how we usually would under him and no matter how bad we were under him, we never quite left ourselves that open. it wasn’t a game of individual errors it was tactically opening the doors wide open for them. I think Brendan is too good of a coach for that to be simple mistakes. People always said soyuncu was dropped for pulling out of the tackle but there was also a heated dressing room argument and i believe he probably called Brendan on his suicide approach on the day
  10. Decent shout. Did he used to play there?
  11. Bear with me here as i know this is a little outlandish, but he reminds me of how Watkins first looked. He played on the wing exclusively but kept scoring ‘strikers goals’ brentford got some other outstanding wingers in benhrama and mbwemo and moved him central and he just fitted like a glove… now when you look at him he’s one of the most comfortable number 9’s in the game. If he could develop a hold up game it could genuinely be the best thing he could do for his career. on the wing, while his work rate is great there is just a lack of flare to beat a man that seems to hold him back. He out runs people sure, but when they are quick he looks ineffective.
  12. It’s a dumb move but it’s still a better move than ayew and BDR. In the games he’d play in the championship he’d be easily be our best player technically. we’re just not in a position to carry any bodies so we’d be daft to do it. If by some miracle you got a season out of him in the championship you’d be laughing though wouldn’t you
  13. I think vardy signing for ‘red bull’ Leeds might be a too perfect story not to not happen
  14. If they aren’t allowed in Europe I could see him pushing for a move
  15. Yeah I personally think this is nailed on to happen. he’ll be there before we’ve made a decision on ruud
  16. The size of rangers would tempt someone like coady. Seems like he’d actually be one that would prefer a good opportunity over a well paid one imo.
  17. He’s better than faes and coady by some distance imo. If souttar is out until December I’d much prefer him next to Nelson than either of the others. (Assuming okoli leaves)
  18. I hope he goes to Birmingham tbh. 24 games this season 0 goals 0 assists. 8m for that is outrageous
  19. Wonder if we’ll ever get a Rudkin vs top battle like the Elon one
  20. It’s exactly when we hit this stage that we switched form the Aaron hickey type signings to the vestergarde type ones. They can either go for established pros and be the last resort option for players well known like we were, or you keep tapping the hidden market.
  21. I’m a bit lost on what’s gone on. Did we actually have an interest in him at all? It wouldn’t surprise me if we haven’t really started the formal search yet tbh
  22. It’s not that he’s said anything wrong, or that it annoyed me, he’s not our manager after all. It’s that he switched the focus to him. It’s a personality trait we’ve seen plenty of with Brendan and not something I want at the club. when you’re at a club as prestigious as rangers, there’s a million reasons you’d want to join and I just think that for him seeing that as an opportunity to gloat about how many clubs wanted him, rather than talk about them specifically, just showed a little about who he is.
