  1. He’s decent. Gives a good insight. He knows how awful we are as well
  2. West ham barely celebrated because this game is such a sure thing for them
  3. Daka mavi. Bilal. Facundo Just give it a try Ruud!
  4. Surely you are better picking someone who has the potential for a top level career though? I just don’t think anyone at the club expected him to get to higher than league 1 so why waste time giving them minutes? yes he might be best for that day, but if you know his bar will ultimately be lower than someone else, you give the time to the highest bar. That’s just my opinion anyway. Just seemed odd that were including players that weren’t highly regarded at the club
  5. I think it was a case of taking the oldest or most physical. Same way brunt got in, despite not ever really doing much for the under 21s
  6. I don’t disagree but sometimes an extra year of winning games makes you stronger ever with failure mixed in. It adds resilience to your squad. We never win the league without watford imo.
  7. What’s frustrating is that Ipswich have given it a go in every sense. Ambitious transfers, positive approach. maximum effort. But are still sat on the same points as us. Because we had a much stronger starting point. if we actually showed the same ambition and effort you’d think we would actually be above wolves. That’s seriously disheartening because in a season we expected external factors to relegate us, it’s actually been internal ones Thats why all this talk about the gap in leagues isn’t fully correct last year the promoted sides were turd, same again this year. But ours was our own doing. Leeds will have a good chance of staying up next year imo
  8. Funny how yes men work with that squad. Says a lot about their character. Solskaer worked well because the inmates(egos) were allowed to rule the asylum
  9. Urgh I’d feel so dirty staying up this way. The hierarchy would learn nothing, not that they ever do
  10. The door could be left wide open for us to take advantage and lose 4-0 to west ham tomorrow
  11. https://www.nationthailand.com/business/corporate/40046425 There’s been an update. The AOT are giving them more time to pay, but will not lower the interest rate. They already owe £93,500, 000. They are gaining interest at about £17m a year, that’s one vestergard per year. And there is no sign they will make enough money to meet the payments. And for those saying it’s not that much for billionaires… this is the starting point, if each year they don’t meet it’s the debt increases. How many years of adding 100m of debt would it take to run out of money? How long would you be willing to endure that What is happening is the same as at our club. They were desperate to keep doing what they did before and put very favourable terms for the AOT on the deal to ensure they won. Offering a huge payment or 20% of revenue, which ever was higher… yet they aren’t getting close to it with the interest terms as they are, they will surely struggle to catch up. This all points towards going bankrupt as their portfolio does not appear diverse enough to get out of this hole. The last thing they need is a football club losing money on their hands. They need to get us up and sell us asap imo
  12. Anyone know much about Darren Motsi, he’s 14 and playing for the under 18s. Sounds like he could be that next gem
  13. Does anyone have a rough idea on what the efl can come at us for? Is it just the 23/24 accounts, or is it also the 22/23 because of our jurisdiction win? are we expecting points, a transfer embargo or both? It will be interesting to see if we attempt to mitigate and negotiate early like Sheffield united did. We do not want something like this hanging over us again for the entire summer
  14. I feel like the reason Enzo will never be elite, is that his system is so poor defensively. Unless you utterly dominate the attack you’re easy to break down. if his players ever have a bad day it collapses. The style is based on the best players dominating which with Chelsea just isn’t possible yet. It’s why pep is struggling now, because it’s the same idea and his squad isn’t good enough to dominate for 90 minutes at the moment. in the summer, Pep will refresh and will ultimately just have the best team again and will continue. but Enzo might not be able to do that in the same way and he would be far more successful just doing the basics of defending. Chelsea essentially are a one player team, so to me, if you just keep it tight defensively that one guy will win you the games. Currently, they have to score 2/3 just to keep them in a game, that’s a big ask. I guess you’d compare them to arsenal in that regard, and that’s what’s lead to them doing well. Slot is currently clear of everyone in England as they are so solid defensively without losing anything at the other end. Almost perfect football.
  15. Claudio winning silverware would be about the only positive to take from this season. One last hurrah my guy!
  16. Hamza is in the bench today. Doesn’t look like he’s good enough for their first 11, he’ll be back again for next year
  17. We waste cups so badly, because Id love to see the 3 of them with fatawu and have any sense of an idea how good the players are. Alves is doing well for Cardiff, we knew he was that good, but we wouldn’t start him against Tranmere. We’ve wasted cup integration for years, but in years where you don’t genuinely have a chance of winning, it’s baffling. But we should be so thankful Ayew and mcateer could take that winning energy into a loss against villa 💀
  18. He actually looked promising but bizarre that we couldn’t get him a loan
  19. How pathetically bad must they have been if just getting them out the building, is help
  20. Rudkin will still spend 3 weeks asking Potter if he wants the job
  21. This is weird, because if we then bring people in for Ruud we will be stuck with him for at least a run of games, you’d imagine until the end.
  22. I really don’t think playing on the counter attack is unattractive. It never has been and never will. There’s genuinely never been anything wrong with it but football clubs are just obsessed with playing the pep way.
  23. He’s had one season in France 10 years ago when he got 17 goal contributions. his best year since was 11. What would make anyone believe at 34 he will be able to transform to someone who regularly contributes? When alrbirghton went to west brom their fans thought, he’s going to smash this. He had one good game with an assist and then did nothing. ( sorry Sharkey, I love you). that’s how it goes for most aging pros He’s not someone like vardy who can defy time, and the championship is already his level. the most you can expect is his standard 7-8 goal contributions. But id bet he’d get 5 max and guess what, he’ll still completely slow down everything we do. He can be a useful squad player who comes off the bench and helps us control a game and nicks a few but if he becomes key to us… we won’t finish in the top 10. I’m certain of that.
  24. I’d be extremely surprised if wilf stays. He’s done well enough that someone will take him for a nominal fee and we’ll be happy to clear the wages
  25. Players in our squads championship capabilities: Too good for the championship (winners) : Bilal, fatawu, mads promotion: Souttar, vestergard, mavididi, winks, Ricardo, wilf top 6: faes, vardy (off the bench), kristiansen, Justin, soumare, ayew, daka mid table to bottom: coady, skipp, bdr, unknown : Jakob, alves, Nelson, okoli ( I just can’t judge where he’d be yet) Not surprising we are struggling when we only have 3 (4 with facundo) players that I can say are too good for the championship. compare that to wolves and you’ll see our problem
