I thought Cov were going to have a strong chance today. This Utd team is fragile at best, shite at worst. Ten Hag is an absolute clown.

I love a bit of camping, and I’m toying with the idea of doing a bit of wild camping. I’ve been scoping out backpacking tents, and I reckon the Vango Banshee 200 is the best pound for pound. May invest.

This is absolutely embarrassing. You can’t do that! Complete losers. They’re not the first club to have decisions go against them and they won’t be the last. They need to grow up and stop being such stupid babies. The quicker they frig off back down to League One the better.
-
This. The three promoted are almost ridiculously bad. The fact that Forest are in a dog fight with them is a testament to just how crap they actually are. Jammy sods.

I was thinking yesterday after he scored how I can barely imagine LCFC without him. I’d love him to still be involved with the club, Director of Shithousery or something.
-
Thought he was unbelievable yesterday. Easily man of the match. An absolute wall.

Please not Leeds as Champions. They’re insufferable as it is with all their Yorkshire bullshit. They need to be losing in the playoffs.

Spurs were never going to win it. It was just a narrative created by the Sky-led football media because they’d spent the previous goodness-knows-how-many years telling us that A) the title race is only ever fought between a handful of teams and B) Tottenham were one of those teams. They assumed we would slip up; we didn’t. Boo hoo, you perpetual losers.

Team locked in dressing room post Plymouth game
Saxondale replied to Kienan dewsbury croc's topic in Leicester City Forum
Without even clicking on the link, I know this is going to be the Mike Basset clip. Fair play, it’s what I would have posted if you hadn’t beat me to it. -
I wanted to go to a game earlier in the season with my young son, and it was going to cost me like £65 even in the very cheapest / worst seats. In fairness I did try to buy the tickets quite late and I do think they use demand-based pricing, so maybe there are better deals to be had. I was most disappointed by the lack of concession for children. It’s no wonder the average age of the Tigers’ crowd is well into the 90s.
-
Easy to get tickets but disgustingly expensive.
-
Cooper or Potter. Cooper did what he did at Forest despite working for an absolute f ucking mentalist owner, who let his gormless son go round signing shite players for masses of money.
-
Everybody is droning on and on about tactics and team selection, but that isn’t really the problem. We’ve turned to shite because the squad’s heads have gone. They’ve lost their confidence, belief, momentum and winning habit. The real question is whether the players can sort their heads out. Yeah, I agree Daka shouldn’t be starting and the manager should be making impact substitutions earlier in the game where required, but this is all just tinkering. Will they recover it in the next four games? My hunch is no. The fans have turned and atmosphere at the games is going to be toxic. People are going to be groaning when Daka’s name is inevitably read out before game. If we’re not winning at half time against West Brom there will be boos ringing out. This is the doom spiral.

I see there's a lot of measured and rational reactions here on Foxestalk, as per.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Saxondale replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes. If our hypothetical promotion was nulled by a points deduction, it would knacker the play-offs. You can’t reassign the standings and replay those. -
Winks, closely followed by KDH, followed by Vestergaard.

What would it take to turn on the owners?
Saxondale replied to MattFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
You say that, but Derby are still pissing about in League 1. Clowes may well be running the club smoothly relative to previous regimes, but they have nowhere near the financial resources of our owners or any major players’ owners. -

It’s their money that they’re losing. And they got us to the cusp of the CL in the first place. And I don’t know where this myth that they stonewall the fanbase has come from. Top literally has a column in the programme, in which he addresses whatever the talking points are. -

This is the point - it’s not oblivion. The likely outcome of all of this debacle is that we get promoted (hopefully, obviously), we get a points deduction, likely get relegated the next season and we’re back where we started. The way people are talking is as if we’re going to go skint and drop down to League Two. What happened to Coventry over two decades was oblivion - not this. -

Saxondale replied to MattFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nah, you’re all correct. We should get new owners in. Somebody a bit like Forest’s. Or Blackburn’s. Or Sunderland’s. Or Reading’s. Or Sheff Weds’. Or Cardiff’s. Or Derby’s. Or Everton’s. Or Hull’s. Or Burnley’s. Or Portsmouth’s. Or Wolves’. Or some nice oil bastards, like Man City’s or Newcastle’s. They won’t be able to spend any of that oil money, mind. -

They took a gamble that didn’t pay off. They thought Rodgers could build and maintain is as a regular European competing club. It very nearly happened. Had they just decided to not spend any money or show any ambition, you lot would be slating them for that too. In fact most have been slating them for not splashing enough cash. I love how everybody is pro-financial prudence now. I’m not saying the current ownership haven’t made mistakes - of course they haven’t - but you lot wouldn’t be happy whoever the owners are. The system is rigged to stop us seriously competing. -

You people are mental. Who the hell do you want to own the club and what would you want them to do differently? -

That Clattenburg thing is the twattiest appointment…no, twattiest THING, I’ve ever seen in football. It’s soooo Forest. -

If - as it seems - our strategy is go all in, swinging punches, then fair play. The PL and EFL are both out to get us, and they probably will, so we might as well stand our ground. The worst that happens is we’re knackered for a season or two, but at least we put up a fight. We’ll rebuild. But it feels like this is a watershed moment, and somebody needs to stand up for the good of the game. -

A lot of people banging on an out Rudkin again in this thread, without any knowledge whatsoever about how the club is run at that level. I have no opinion about Rudkin, but I think it’s ridiculous that he seems to be the focus of so much criticism. Tiresome jokes about Rudkin faxing off copies of the accounts - it’s as unfunny as it is misdirected. If you absolutely need to gun for a senior exec, this sounds like the Finance Director’s remit.
