My boss is Sheff Wed and reckons Röhl is superb. Reckons he won them about 20 points last season from pure tactical nous alone, with a poor set of players.

I’m fairly confident the faithful will do their best to hamper our chances by booing constantly from the moment we concede a goal to Sheffield Wednesday to the final whistle of the season. No team stands a chance if our support continues to be as toxic as it has been.

I’ve gleaned some interesting facts: * His name’s Röhl, not Rohl, which means all our fan base will pronounce it incorrectly, like they did with Pyool. * He’s only 36. * He’s from proper East Germany, so he’s likely to bring some sadistic Stasi-inspired methods with him. * He’s done alright at Sheff Weds. * He used to work at Southampton, so of course our board want him.

Exactly. But the good people of Foxestalk are always getting carried away with these rumours. It’s the same with transfers: some tit on Twitter will mention us being linked with some player we’ve never heard of, then when it turns out we don’t sign the player, everybody is calling the club incompetent!
