I visit loads of services because of my job. Welcome Break have massively upped their game over the past few years but they still have older sites requiring investment. Yeah I get it, but I think it’s performative in the way that fans feel the need to out- do each other in their expressions of disgust, hence starting thread after thread of the same whinging shit rather than just contributing to the existing threads.

Exactly this. I’m almost on my own in holding this view, but I think the fans were the biggest contributing factor to our relegation with Rodgers and the Dean Smith. At the beginning of that season we were playing genuinely good football, but after a few unlucky results the fans started booing everything. You could literally see the confidence and morale drain out of the players. We never recovered.

That’s now about five threads all started post yesterday’s game expressing the same ‘everything is shìt’ sentiments. It’s all performative outrage.
