Did they show Pearson & Morgan’s gang after the 🐐 scored as the clip finishes probably before they went to his crowd
-
Why does Ndidi continue to show and tackle from the wrong side allowing the player to turn in unchallenged towards our goal 🤷♂️ Man I hope that buy out is a thing
-
Just can’t see it, 6mths with Oxford to champions league 🤷♂️ Whilst Enzo will give him time and allow him to make mistakes Chelsea and their fans won’t, they not sold on Enzo yet, he’s not what they need anyway. They need an established leader, they have enough young CBs they need a VVD type to come in and pull them together at the back like when he joined Liverpool, not another young lad looking for support.

agree whilst its obviosuly 'Charlie Brown' feasible it will never happen due to safe guarding 1st & foremost followed by interaction etc

yep i just edit'd my last post to add him in, was a good player for us

Had high hopes for Matt Jones but sadly another player brought down to early by injuries. also Mark Davies didn't really have the career i thought he would go onto have after his loan spell with us.

I always liked him & wish he stayed within the fold, would have saved us having to sign some of the dross CB's we have. The issue for him was suffering injuries in that 1st season back in the prem & then CR coming in & Morgan & Huth were going to be his starters. At that age he needed to play, he had played 67 times for us up to then & was still learning his trade, he had a bit about him that just needed experience & he had some pace on him also often playing / filling in at RB. Going to Reading wasn't great for him either, he became the main man there ending up as captain which then kind of kept him there through some sort of misguided loyalty whilst they went through the mess they were going through. I think had he stayed with us he would have been a very solid Premier league CB & had he left Reading when they 1st started to get into trouble again he'd have had a better (higher profile) career. A really nice lad also, met him a few times when he was at Reading.

5 new signings announced, 1st 3 should be pushing for starts happy with Blamire as replacement hooker as he showed a lot of promise when he broke through maybe struggled due to Newcastles struggles. We have needed starting props for awhile & Haffar is a great addition to Smith & Heyes along with the aging Cole if he re-signs a new contract & doesn't retire himself mind. Moro is highly thought of over in Argentina & we beat Gloucester to his signature, down as a flanker but also plays as an 8 & has a turn of pace on him, i'm hoping he's going to be a Ben Earl type player for us. They have also said that further signings will be announced in the coming weeks. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/articles/c3v5r939560o

And another reason why Forest fans should forget about us and just enjoy Europe next season because once that’s over it will be BAU. Liverpool, Arsenal, Man C & Chelsea will all spend big again as will Man U they will find money for players just not staff. Villa & Newcastle already better than Forest will also strengthen. This is before Forest start to get players poached which is very likely without Champions league.

Well that was left field ExTiger Geoff Parling signs a long term contract to become Tigers coach. Not sure about this given his lack of experience and the fact he’s with the Oz team until after the lions tour so add in some leave and moving etc he’s looking at end Aug at the earliest to be feet under table & given we need to also find a defence coach as Parling won’t come with a team on top of recruiting at least 2 # 10s, a backup #9 etc and build a style ready for a September start. This kinda stinks of the board will run how things go, we’ll decide who the 10 is and you work with it. Apart from him being 1 of my favourite players back in the day along with Croft when they played together it’s not giving me a fluffy feeling about the future.

What is their issue specifically with TAA because you get the impression that if VVD &/or Salah decided to move on this summer they would applaud them & say fair play they contributed and will leave as legends. Did Owen get the same stick when he left for RM. Is it solely about being local & why would a local want to play elsewhere?

Why does Ayew look both shocked and angry every time he’s sub’d, in his head me must think he’s the best player on the pitch 🤷♂️

Aww that’s good to hear, cheers 👍

Still no news on Denny Draper really hope it’s nothing mental health, life changing or family oriented because she’s been out for so long. If it’s ACL which I can’t find anything on surely there would be some sort of progress update on rehabilitation along with the odd photo, she’s no longer seen as an academy player but 1st team but there’s nothing about her anywhere. If it’s something very personal then god bless & hope she can get through it 🙏

Agree makes no sense and even Wrexham won’t be smashing their wage structure to fund him even for a fairytale season for them.

Whilst FT continues to blame anyone who has a mortgage or has worked for over 30 years for the lack of atmosphere within current English stadiums the owner of Fulham proudly shows off his new new eight-tier hospitality section opened this weekend offering Michelin-star inspired menus, rooftop pool access on the three-floor 'Sky Deck', sweeping views across the River Thames and London, plus the best halfway-line seats. The rooftop pool hadn't been finished - although you can't actually see the pitch from the pool. But that's deliberate. Watching the football feels like an afterthought. Here’s the real issue IMG_0535.webp

I believe that was after debts as well, think all in he had 28.5m. Crazy to think of having a 4.5m debt I start to panic if the CC goes over £450 but I guess the bigger the circle the bigger the debt.

Highly thought of 20yr old Tom Wilson-Brown has either got caught in bed with Derek McInnes daughter or wife or told him he’s a shite manager because he don’t even make the squad now. When he first signed he was on the bench with McInnes bigging him up after seeing him in training, another failed loan in the sense of playing time although I guess it’s put him in and around a 1st team environment 🤷♂️

What’s more interesting is the gap to 5th from us has been reduced to 8pts, last season it was 17 the season before that 21 so are the rest getting average or are we getting slightly better / holding our own against the rest? Top 4 is a closed shop so everyone else fighting to be 5th, is there any European trips for 5th?

4 would still be harsh in reality and probably given due to feeling rather than actual crime which is of 2 counts of criminal damage, the tree itself didn’t even have a TPO against it. Of course there needs to be consequences they are a pair of tools but public emotion shouldn’t be factored into the sentence in this case. If we look at 4yrs for felling a tree, regardless of what that tree was, then the judge that just sentenced Max Hollingsbee to just 31 mths of prison time for 42 charges of child sexual abuse crimes carried out over a 2yr period was certainly not reading the room at the time and should be ashamed of themselves.

Another red top but Aston Villa are expected to trade heavily again in the transfer market this summer and will consider offers for Emi Martinez if Unai Emery and his staff believe they can sign a younger alternative of similar ability. Mads fits the bill, hopefully can at least get a bidding war going as teams seem to be looking for keepers.

I'm not sure we had him chained up but it does bring an interesting point, with, & just using Lge 2 upwards, 92 teams playing any given week thats only 92 GKs being used per week yet most clubs would have 3 Snr keepers on the books i wonder how many GK's never actually play a competative match in their career. Just a quick look & using Danny Ward as an example there has to be quiet a few, looking at League matches alone Lge2 -> Premier he has played 102 times (29 to many for us), obviously he's played in cups, national lges & Internationals but in a career so far spanning 25yrs he has only appeared in 180 snr matches which is unbelievable really. Contrast that to Iversen who in his 9yrs of snr football has played 197 times

@davieG We all know that he is still in school but this has certainly got lost within this forum, the mental pressure & sheer explosion within his headspace must be crippling to a seasoned pro in any walk of life let alone being 15 & playing in the premier league “Of course, he’s a 15-year-old kid who is preparing his GCSEs, showing up for training with his school uniform and his tie. “Can you imagine what that does if you’re in the Premier League? Can you imagine how you have to process that at such a young age?

Liam Manning is in the same mould of Russell & Enzo & adapts to the same playing style resource dependant. Here is a list of Mannings preferred player profiles & possessional set up, then think of what we had in the Champsionship with Enzo Manning looks for technically assured, tactically intelligent players who can operate within a structured game model: Centre-backs comfortable stepping out with the ball Inverted full-backs or those able to rotate intelligently Midfielders with composure under pressure and excellent body orientation Wingers who can isolate full-backs or drift inside to combine Strikers with strong link play and good movement between the lines He prizes decision-makers over athletes, particularly in the central channel. Manning’s teams often adopt a 2-3-5 or 3-2-5 shape in sustained possession, depending on the opponent’s pressing structure. The centre-backs split, with a pivot dropping in to create a back three when building from deep. Full-backs are key, they either provide width or invert into central areas depending on the phase of play. Build-Up: Controlled and deliberate. Play is built from the back with numerical superiority sought in the first and second phases. Progression: Use of third-man runs, rotations in the half-spaces, and central midfielders who can receive under pressure. Final Third: Focus on wide rotations and cutbacks rather than hopeful crosses. You can see why his name fits the profile of where we were heading.
