Eng U21s was the game to watch, the future looks bright for the snr team with the depth coming through on top of those like MLS who have stepped up. Just need a coach willing to look to the future.

Biggest..win at Franklin Gardens for Tigers & 1st nil point for Saints in 20yrs Tigers shot out the blocks playing ball in hand rugby we haven’t seen for some time by a Tigers team then the rain came and affectively ruined the game for both sides but especially Saints who threw up 26+ handling errors. As an aside Pollard missed 2 conversions which potentially would have made the score the more impressive.

I didn't watch the game but looking at stats alone it looked to me that Denmark were more on the front foot with 23/9 shots to Portugal's 8/2 with 1 of those 2 shots 'on target' for Portugal coming in the 90+ minute, sounds to me that Vestergaard didn't have much 'defending' to do & people getting carried away like last season with his ability to sit on the h/way line putting the odd good ball in because the opposition didn't pose much of a threat. As i say i didn't watch the game so unless someone tells me that he was like a lion smashing in tackles, perfectly shepherding forwards down blind alleys, leaping majestically to head out every high ball whilst taking full control & marshaling his backline colleagues like Franco Baresi i won't believe he's anything other than a number on a team sheet & will look past the comments of "Vestergaard down as MotM for me so far..." etc that i have seen.

Wales U21 Ex-Foxes Matty Jones, really liked him and think he would have been something special if not for his injury forcing him to retire aged 23, glad he’s managed to carve a career in football 👍 -
£20m so £4m per year over his 5yrs contract, sound better 🤷♂️

Watching motd Chelsea v Arsenal and this is what’s wrong with the English game, ooh no I’m racist but it’s the foreign mentality of trying to gain advantage by getting someone a card by feigning injury, having just watched the 6N and then watching this 5hit it makes my blood boil and yet commentary condone it when they should be calling it out

We know the model, have a single target of staying in the league that is it. There is a reason only a select few names are on the Premier League title trophy, FA cup and even EFL or what ever name it is now cup.

I think I’d disagree and we would be better off with a relegation and immediate promotion. I believe we are coming out of that bad 3yr psr window, we have cut our cloth dramatically and a relegation will see a lot more of the chaff leave taking most of those left on stupid wages & despite what we think of them, a few will still command decent’ish fees. The core we will have + some well picked signings should see us fighting for promotion as we should still be to strong for the majority of the division. The issue of hanging around in the league waiting to build is a dangerous 1, take Leeds it took them years to finally get out but only 2 seasons to return back down. The trouble is for every year you’re in the championship earnings fall and your best players are poached until you’re in this revolving door of refilling cracks and not getting to the root cause. This is where we find ourselves now, it’s not a dramatic reset like we needed when we hit Lge1 but it’s needed just to clear the last remnants of chaff stinking us out from board to playing staff, if that can be done with a yo-yo season we will be in a stronger position on our return, squad & financial to remain unlike 6 or 7yrs hanging around the championship.

Hoping we get a bidding war going for Hermanson between Chelsea & Man U we know Enzo loves him but there’s no way Man U keeping Onana as their #1 there will be a big overhaul in Manchester this summer & keeper will be top of the list.

Catch 22 I guess, we’d want to play some of the Idjuts to showcase them in the hope someone takes them off our hands, if we bury them no one will come looking. I know most will say everyone thinks their 5hit anyway from what they have seen thus far so what’s the point but all 3 relegated clubs will have players taken especially from teams coming up and we need to get ahead of the other 2 clubs in offloading. But yes some minutes for these younger lads would be most welcome to form a basis for next season -

With Shillcock leaving also we certainly need to move quickly. Volavola’s contract is only for 1yr as well, not sure if anyone can make a step up from the academy but certainly not as a regular stater.

only this forum can blame the 50+yr olds for a lack of atmosphere & their more conservative views against rebelling yet then show a newspaper clip showing hundreds of leicester city supporters demonstrating against the club then say why is our fanbase not more like this, the year was 1996 it was these 50+yr olds you are complaining about, maybe instead of complaining about those that have redirect their frustrations at those <50 that have not.

oooh Jack Crowley seems to have moved to the front of the queue with reports saying he has been offered a rather sizeable contract to join. I'm sure he will use it to get a new contract with Munster/IRFU as his current contract is up in a few months, but i like where Tigers are looking.

very un-labour like to be going after the welfare system also, it was a big no no when the other lot tried it i seem to remember

So the writer of that tweet reads the article & puts his spin on it for dramatic affect The Denmark head coach informed Kristiansen of his decision ahead of the squad announcement and said he did not take the conversation lightly.(thats Riemer didn't take it lightly) But ultimately, he couldn’t include five full-backs in his 23-man squad. The four selected are Manchester United’s Patrick Dorgu, Wolfsburg’s Joakim Maehle, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Rasmus Kristensen, on loan from Leeds, and Mads Roerslev, now on loan at Wolfsburg from Brentford. “It was a bad conversation for me,” Riemer said of his discussion with Kristiansen. “I think he deserves more. “It's purely a tactical choice in relation to what I want. I don't want five full-backs, and tactically the profiles fit into what I want. “He took it very professionally and like a man. Of course he didn't agree, but he understood the explanation well.” I would expect any player not making a squad to be disappointed but someone putting their own spin on how the conversation went v's how the manager said it went, just for likes (& i know you just forwarding what you have seen) is it a bit off. I'm only posting to save the next 4+ pages being a pile-on on Kristianson thinking he barricaded the door not allowing Riemer to leave the room & then laid on the floor kicking & screaming.

& people got upset when it was suggested Leicester fans were acting entitled 🤷♂️

If they go up it’s an easy £5-8m buy for them which I’m sure they will do.
-
Why do ‘fans’ do these jerk reactions all the time, seem to remember a Harry Kane getting pelters at Tom’s age didn’t turn out to bad for that lad.

Man C need to stop playing the kids Joking aside they have had a terrible season for them and they will be hurting with how much they have fallen behind Liverpool..so what will they do?? They spent an unprecedented £180m in a winter window, can only imagine it will be double that in the summer + they will have players like Rodri back, whilst it was great O’Reilly got a game the other day I’m not sure how many of these lads will play in the league or big games next season. I imagine the majority of those top 6/7 clubs will be buying big in summer just like they did after our season win because they have been shown up again and we know they don’t like that!

Must have missed that Chilwell got a loan to palace

Looks like the 2 favourites in the running to replace Pollard are Joe Simmonds & Jacob Umaga. 2 very different styles but 2 very good options hopefully the new coach gets a say because it will determine the way Tigers will play
