  1. Game over now and still 27mins to play it’s not been great at all
  2. Haa not the best of restarts 😂
  3. 2 yellows and only down 17:5 with 40 to play??
  4. Ben Nelson & Oxford rocking the boat currently v Hamza & Sheff U. I know Leeds have had the beating of us recently but would we rather they don’t get promotion, surely wages must be coming a struggle if they don’t & then will the likes of James, Gnonto, Rondon, Piroe, Bryan & Bamford stay could this season be make or break for them?
  5. Add Reading FC to the list, they have 2 days to find another buyer or face been frozen out of the EFL altogether just as Noel Hunt finally has them playing well and in the play off positions. They have been victims of not having a fit and proper owner, he failed to buy Hull why the FA thought it was ok for him to buy Reading then who knows & they are the ultimate example of how PSR (in whatever guise) fails any club outside those traditional bigger clubs & really isn’t fit for purpose. Reading have had something like 18-20pts deducted over the years dropping them the Premier to Lge 1 in a few years, where as Chelsea just sell something they own to themselves, it f’ing stinks. I really hope someone can force their dic owner to accept any offer, he’s already turned down £30m from the ex-Wycombe owners & it’s not like it’s worth anymore because the man has already asset stripped anything of value.
  6. The mirror came up with this this morning “Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has been identified as the Premier League's slowest player” Surely we have to start Vestergaard now for nothing more than 5hits n giggles & keep us entertained it might give us something to sing about at least 😂
  7. Will that demographic ever move over to 'Football' as we know it or could this be the end of 'Football' as we know it? There are so many threads just within our own forum that talks about an aging fan base but is this the future, will anyone post 2005 (splitting Gen Z here) ever really get into Football or do they want shows like this? I'm pre-2005 so obviously can't stand the over the top theatrics of the whole thing, screaming commentators, benches spilling onto the pitch at any moment, girly face offs its footballs version of a wrestlemania production, its all to very foam finger, Z lister creating, gosh honey did you see that over the top for my liking.
  8. Martyn Waghorn has come out of retirement aged 35 to help Derby try to escape relegation
  9. Was thinking is this a game where Kop has her game of all games but reality is she’s more likely to be bored
  10. Yeah and let’s stop all cars having power steering it’s making us lazy drivers, what a pointless notion.
  11. So ya telling me the parents of a Leicester city player not being played are upset then, is that it in a nutshell?
  12. Blackwell has thrown a few names in his column in the merc recently and all deserve a good look especially thou’s on a free; Poku, Darling, Dolan, Osho & Nmecha then for a fee Hackney, Wright & Fellows. All are up in the top 1% stats wise for their position and most are 25yrs or below. I’d imagine the 3 promoted sides will have their pick 1st & be a potential better draw for the players but we certainly should be in the conversation.
  13. Jeeezus he hit that 🚀
  14. Fully agree with this he’s certainly an enigma, he’s a bit of a Robbie Savage limited ability but offers something more player 🫤 A lot of people slate players that don’t try and he certainly doesn’t fit into that category, he puts himself about, disrupts, energetic, can play a pass, multi positional and can take instruction he’s not the headless chicken he once was. Vestergaard is let off for his short comings because the manager doesn’t ’play to his strengths’ yet we saw last season how Enzo used Hamza and got a decent tune out of him. As I say he’s an enigma because fans say he’s not good enough for us talking as if we are a top 10 pushing side then ask for players that will show a bit of grit not like the prima Donna’s currently playing because we need fighters in a relegation or championship battle 🤷‍♂️ That’s not me saying we should keep him but struggle to understand what fans think where the club is currently and what type of players should be in next years squad for what ever league (ok championship) we find ourselves in.
  15. With regards to the long game didn’t I read the other day that the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions were at their lowest since the 1870s, whilst China’s hit an all time high in the same year 🤷‍♂️ Yes the likes of China & US are pumping more funding into going green but they also have the most to convert, China is still heavily reliant on fossil fuels. Their emissions will start to drop due to this heavy investment in greener energy but they are still way out in front in the world’s polluters. Agreed they are certainly showing the US & Russia up but still the UK is the only ‘super power’ in the top 10 of countries reducing its emissions near quick enough. I’d like to believe that China is trying to flood the market with EVs to aid the wider good but the sceptic in me still believes it’s about the 💵 & bragging rights sadly.
  16. Said it before but Gen V it’s a spin off of The Boys very enjoyable 👌
  17. We may chuckle but it’s coming to ‘The Central Bank’ near you soon
  18. He wouldn't get a look in at Arsenal & not what they need
  19. TT said he wanted to look over a few more players but still puts that A-hole in goal & has 2 GK on the bench what’s the point 🤷‍♂️
  20. Get him at CB 😂
  21. Sky have Ayew down as the right CB tonight in a 4-4-2 formation, is this where we’re going wrong?
  22. Their use of the word “imminent” is different to the rest of the English speaking world sadly. Also sadly the link is to an Italian club so he will still be with us deep into August until we have agreed a deal of €2m paid over 4yrs, hopefully the link to German clubs sees him off our hands a little earlier in August though.
  23. Surely the pure size of Seagrave puts us in a better position to pick up youngsters for the academy, I don’t mean facility wise just space. Before maybe we could only accommodate (just picking numbers here) 80 young kids but now we can accommodate twice or 3 times that number, ergo raising the potential of producing 2 or 3 times the number of profitable assets & future stars. The actual facilities then play a major part in keeping them there.
  24. Insert anything reliant on a server 🤷‍♂️
