Not to go on & on but even using that graphic he gets his 1st start in week 20 (he'd had 1 minute thus far) so hardly match fit & gets 4 goals & 2 assist in a run of 6 starts, he's then taken out of the squad for 3 games, he's then back in & gets 3 & 1 in 3 games & then gets dropped again this time to the bench, he then has a further 6 starts where he only produces 2 assists granted but again sandwiched between 2 unused bench appearances & a 4 minute cameo, he's not had a run of games to get back to when his season started in week 20. I can't remember why he wasn't in the squad splitting that run at that beginning but 7 goals & 3 assists in 9 games is a good return no & who knows if he was allowed to continue through that patch he would have got sharper? Again using this season top scorer Piroe who started 36 games & came on in the other 10 so had input in all 46 games, only scored 19 total. I'd assume had Daka been given a fairer crack of the whip he would have also got 19+, he was playing 2nd fiddle to Nacho yet still out scored him as he only scored 5 in those 1st 19 games.

Stats can be diced anyway to make any arguement, i've tried to total full 90min games which came up as 12 & he ended with 7 & 5 so you would think with a potential 34 more 90mins he would have put a few away & would certainly be near or potentially past Piroe haul of 19. We can use stats on Piroe also as he scored 4 in 1 game alone (v Stoke) 2 in 2 others Stoke & Cardiff so the top scorer in this seasons championship scored his 19 goals in 14 games yet appeared in 46 matches..

94 league appearances equating to 45 '90min' games with a combined total of 17 goals (& 12 assists) so 1 every other game'ish / 2.5 games. Championship is 46 games, if he worked to those numbers next season would he look better? This seasons top scorer was Piroe on 19, Sainz & Brownhill joint 2nd with 18 then 4th is Sargent 15, so 17 would see him 3rd before things drop off to 13 & below there weren't / arn't many top strikers in the league, also given Sainz & Brownhill go down as W & CM not CF it's all the more shocking. If he kept the assists the same also 12 would see him 3rd overall with only Tom Fellows & Josh Murphy above him with 1 more (14) In our championship season with Enzo's system he played only 12 '90mins' & scored 7 with 5 assists, so sticking with the near 1 every other game run rate Daka could have finished with 24 goals (assists abit trickier but lets double it to 10) - Piroe ended with 19 goals & 7 assists. I guess you do have to acknowledge Daka was 22 when he came to us & straight into the 'hardest' league in the world, but at 26 & in the Championship you would expect him to be nearer the top of the scorer charts next season..with or without us!

Just read in my leaves that we get rid & he goes to a Burnley type club, plays almost every game scoring 15 & this thread is re-opened with the words.. well tbf he never really got a good run of games to prove what he can do.. but out of interest what is the longest run of games he's had in both division's, i do seem to remember Vardy being out for a few weeks so he would have been front & centre then but that would be what, 4 games on the bounce or longer?
  5. Thomas actually made Deeney's team of the week & whilst these things don't necessary equate to everyone's best player in 'x' position it does suggest that his performance was noted amongst all the other fullbacks. He also had RVN as manager of the week so does whiff of a sympathy vote but still
  6. The bit where they said they want a minute to think & he says something like ”yeah sure have a cup of tea as well….” got me chuckling also 😂
  7. Can we afford, & I don’t mean financially, to clear the board and sack RVN in the same window? You’d assume all that will happen then is a dragged out process to firstly get a new DoF and whoever else on the board before a manager is finely appointed. Then they go through the process of saying it’s a clean slate for all the players and take another month checking them over to finely realise most need shifting, they then look at the academy lads but the new manager who hasn’t the trust in them yet goes out and buys new players pushing back some of those that have broke through. If we have the chance of moving on Rudkin or RVN I’d rather Rudkin went, least RVN has made his mind up on most things & we can’t trust Rudkin not to just say to a new manager there’s your squad use them all bringing back in those we don’t want anymore 🤷‍♂️
  8. 7 Yellow cards for Forest there, that’ll be a fine
  9. Brentford nearly balls'd that up
  10. Oof They will push nearer the 100m mark I guess, whether Man C entertain that 🤷‍♂️
  11. MGW suggested MV €50m so with 2yrs left on his contract NF will probably ask for 100m but what would be realistic price 60-70m? They brought him for best part 30m not sure about add-ons. KDB replacement I assume
  12. They are currently in a champions league spot, please let them use some of that money on him 🙏
  13. Has he said its his decision 🤷‍♂️
  14. Or I guess they could just get on with delivering what they promised & truly look out for the country and not just trying to keep themselves at the top table beyond 5yrs by saying how bad the alternatives are. If I had 3 builders round to quote for some work with 1 highlighting how they work, provided evidence of their work along with recommendations & testimonials whilst the other 2 spent the whole time bitching about builder 1 I know which builder I’d probably go with 🤷‍♂️
  15. Only 1 touch in the man c half since going behind 😂
  16. Wasn’t it meant to be the ‘early learning’ club for Top whilst Vichai ran Leicester until he wanted to hand the reigns over 🤷‍♂️
  17. Am I reading this wrong about consistency of Liverpool, it’s taken them 35yrs to get the 2 titles required to subsequently match Man U & those have come in the past 5/6yrs.
  18. It could be why Birmingham have a vision of building a 62k seater to tap into these semi finals & International games as well as NFL, concerts etc with the strap line of we are pretty central within the country to support most neutral travelling friends.
  19. Palace show Pace beats most things, Sarr unplayable we need to be signing pacey players
  20. Without buying anyone we have a starting 11 that should challenge Jacob Ricardo (C) Nelson. Soutter Thomas Skipp Winks Fats Bilal Mavi Daka Ricardo as inverted RB making a ball playing midfield and putting Thomas as the LCB. You still have the likes of Oki, James, Woyo, McAteer and all the lads from the academy…the rest can bloody do 1. Then add a few signings that could/should take a starting slot. They need to have pace & be around 23/24 or younger.
  21. A bit early again with bigging other teams up, Southampton are just as bad as us
  22. 4 subs already probably means we won’t be seeing Monga as you’d assume it’ll be Daka for Vardy at some point
  23. It should have been Reid & Facundo off for McAteer and Monga with Bilal moving closer to Vardy, we need pace ffs. Next subs after that should then be Ndidi, Soumare and Vardy
  24. People better be leaving
