Club can have me and my team for free. Just saying, in case youāre reading Jon! Our last footie project is higher in the league than we are. š
-
Because the whole forum is littered with people who just offer hate, bile and bitterness. Iāve never used the āignoreā function until this last few months. Now add someone to it every couple of weeks, it seems. š
-
How do you think Top gets his money out in order to āclear offā if weāre in League 1?
-
Really? š³. Three years ago, maybe. These days, for me, itās 20 minutes after the final whistle and I can try and forget all about whatās just unfolded.

Loved that day. Had to sit in DD as they were only seats we could get. Best mate was playing for Oxford that day and, out of nowhere, hooked a ball clear off the line that looked a certain goal for us. Without hesitation I found myself on my feet screaming āyou f&ckĀ£ng wan&wrā at him at full volume š¤£Sadly, karma dictates that Baggies send us down on the last day, this time š„“

Is it bigger after all the recent rain? š¤ -
So for three more days, we can convince ourselves that a team of the below is our path to redemptionā¦ā¦.. Begovic Aluko Lascelles Nelson Ricky Winks Aribo Fatawu Mukasa Mavididi Richards ⦠until we see them play. Then itās back to Hamza, Ayew, Vesty and Daka š„“

Shame. This boy could have been the mustard š

So youād rather go through life being negative ā¦.. in order to avoid the occasional moment of negativity? š¤

Interesting responses. For me, it seems to boil down to:- a). Does a striker make any difference when we arenāt creating and concede for fun? b). Does an aerially dominant defender give us some leadership and dominance in both boxes and reduce the conceded goals to at least build some points? c). A midfielder to try and cover all bases and hopefully drag a combined marginal improvement from our defence and attack. Interesting spread of opinions. (Which probably wouldnāt have happened if Haaland was an option) š Personally, as it feels like a backs-to-the-wall kind of stage to the season, Iād go with a massive central defensive presence. Maguire or Gabriel. š¤·

Apparently he canāt spell Leicester so canāt use his sat nav to get here ā¦ā¦ā¦ and it would boring if almost everyone went for him š
-
Youāre allowed ONE player from the current Premier League squads to add to ours. Haaland is unavailable. They are to be loaned to us for rest of this season. And all are fully-fit and are fired up at the prospect, so no need to second-guess attitude issues. So who would you take to get us to safety this season? NB - Haters, there are a million other threads to post your hate. Would be lovely if we could have one without any.
-
Hard to find positives, right now. But there are some. Page. Aluko. Monga. Nelson. All gaining massive experience. Iād start all for the rest of the season, if their bodies can take it. š„“. Iād also start winks & Begovic next game. After those names, selection doesnāt really matter as theyāre all pants on current form.
-
Aluko has actually looked good in amongst this omnishambles.
-
Pathetic. Close the door on your way out.
-
Even factoring in being down to ten, itās quite impressive that weāve actually managed to get even worse inside a week.
-
Stol looks like he might have got away with his weekly nightmare??

If a CB picks up a knock it gets interesting! š„“

I know Matt from working with him previously. Heās a really nice guy. Maybe too nice? Canāt shift this feeling that we need a taskmaster, and Iām not sure thatās him. -

And a feckinā Dalek as fitness coach. š -
I donāt get the pile-on for Marti. He seems like a totally decent guy. He just wasnāt good enough. Thatās on us for appointing him. In a difficult set of conditions, he seems to have given it his all. Sadly, his all was nowhere near the level we needed. Personally, I hope he goes on to have success elsewhere and wish him well.

I saw us win 1-0 at Wrexham in the 80s and Dave Bartram was sat two rows behind me. These days, heād be starting at centre-forward if bhe was there.
