  1. I want to know which mystery player is playing in a Mendy skin suit? Transformation doesnt even do it justice. Solid again. Good performances all round. Has Claude finally found a stable starting 11??
  2. We played our best football in our defeat. Winning scrappy games which we arguably should of lost (im thinking Wolves) is what will make the difference at the end. We will have our run and we still have a very exciting centre back to make his mark once fit!. That goal will help Gray no end.. ive got a feeling he could co tribute 10+ with good confidence. So all in all, im happy and i do like the transition in our styles.. although that will take time and changes to personnel, which is happening so we must be patient. Gut feeling is we will finish top half and be in the mix for Europa with a bit of luck.
  3. Great performance.. contolled the game for large parts.. thats 3 points more often than not outside top 4. Well done lads.
  4. Happy with that.. despite losing.. outplayed them in large chunks. Outside top 4 thats 3 points more often than not.
  5. Well done lads... loads of fight and very happy with that. Deserved a point
  6. Some whingeing creeping in here... lets me honest lads... this is an energetic performance and Man Utds only joy is coming from our mistakes. I think the futures bright... all players put a shift in
  7. Hes pounced on a hell of a lot of loose balls... are you sure??
  8. Silva mopping up on those manutd bad touches nicely. Got a feeling he will have a good season for us
  9. Nice one! I don't have Sky so works for me.
  10. Apologies if not the correct way to open a topic or already done. For those without sky sports but have access to Sky1.... the game is on it tonight 7pm start Hope that helps. https://www.sky.com/tv-guide/20180810/4101-1/106
  11. I think this is my frustration aswell. Seeing Ulloa, King getting serious preseason minutes (more than most it appears to me) when clearly they are in the twilight of their time here and will surely be bit part players or loanees..and as good as they've been they are not at the level required to challenge top 6. I do however like how Puel has given some quality time to the U23s development players to allow a good look. Some clearly rusty but have a future.
  12. Number one is the most offensive player in Polo.... Top likes to be up top then!! HRH (4).... Polos own Harry Maguire!!
  13. https://www.lcfc.com/galleries/769455/lcfcs-first-day-back-in-preseason-training Mendy looks in shock to be back!!
  14. 100% correct. When players are struggling some sections of our fan base pummel whats left of any confidence out of them with groans at the smallest of errors. They these players move on and rediscover form. Krameric, Musa and i suspect Slimani. We need to show a bit more patience.
  15. That will help to turn the loan in to Perm!! well done Musa
  16. To here come the Sun - Beatles James Mad-di-son Do de do do James Mad-di-son Do de do do Hes alright!! De de de.... etc
  17. Just a gut feeling... the fact that no one in Mahrez camp (wife, friends, etc) are tweeting or speaking out like previous times leads me to beleive that all the hold up is down to personal terms and those all important agents fees.
  18. Superb news for all in city especially the girls at grass roots who now have a clear option to reach the top. It certainly should be promoted a lot more. LCFC women are now pretty much a professional outfit and one league off the elite womens level. My understanding is they have some England youth girls in the squad now and everything is progressing nicely. I hope the club will back them as such to cement the championship status they have just earned and then kick on to the next level.
  19. Iborra is a Rolls Royce. Glides round the pitch at a steady pace, hes not fast, not flamboyant but you can just tell he he oozes quality. Passing and link up from this man is a joy to watch. Always knows his next decision before the ball arrives even if it doesnt always come off. Got a good feeling he's going to be even better with a good preseason under his belt.
  20. Shiji had an off day today but he is crucial to the way we play. The no.10 role is ridiculously hard to play well and i cant think of another player who plays is better for us.. even out most talented Ryiad has tried and in my opionion was not up to it. Shinji is very technical and great a link up and how many times have we seen those overhead kicks, scissor volleys somehow not go in... its often Shinji behind those snippets of technical brilliance. For me hes defo worth a contract extension. We see the hole he leaves when hes injured. Id like to see Silva given a 20 minute spell in that No.10 role as i yhink he could play it. Hes got a great touch, good link up skills and most importantly a brain to see the unseeable.
  21. Gutted. But i have to say our lads came out with plenty of credit espeically Albrighton has one hell of an engine and heart!!
  22. Yes, Leicester city ladies have no affiliation to LCFC and play at Alyestone park... which ironically has a better quality pitch than GNG where LCFC women play.
  23. Agree. I was just about to add i find it shocking that we have a 5 star academy.. a flag ship trianing ground in the pipe line and a womens team that runs as an amateur setup. Especially when I would not take much to kick start them. Womens football deserves this and we all enjoyed the success we saw at the womens euros.
  24. I know the head coach of LCFC women quite well. A really decent bloke. They recieve no funding beyond basics from LCFC, no players are paid and they play at GNGs ground in Braunstone. They do have a fundraiser once a year where they get to use the king power and have a womens football tournament to raise much needed funds.
