The one where Ayew has headed it back across the box? If so it hit his chest. If it was the shot from the edge of the box it got checked and cleared, my first thoughts on that was that it was from such close range and appeared to deflect that we would have been lucky to get it unless the defender had the arm in a really unnatural position but they didn't show a replay. -
Could but didn't? Hutchinson tried numerous times and didn't get much out of going up against VK, even more impressive that he largely had to do it alone because Mav didn't fancy getting back to support him. I don't think he's been anything special but people seem quick to try and find faults in what was a decent performance.

Kasey on for Mav for me, need someone who will work hard both ways. Technically not great but he can't be any worse at this point -

People going to town on VK but he's so isolated because Mav doesn't want to bust a gut to get back, he also doesn't offer any outlet to get on the ball because he's having a stinker. He needs to get his head up and sort it out. -

We've pressed them a few times and they've played through it, for me it comes from the wide players, Fatawu and Mavididi are off it so we've just regressed into ourselves -

Fatawu and Mavididi turn the ball over so cheaply, when we finally get a bit of possession, take care of the ball -

We just make such silly mistakes and Faes loses concentration so often. Apart from Vestegaards initial mistake, him, Kristiansen and Ricky P have done ok but they are definitely targeting our left side. -

Because surrounding the ref gets reported to the FA and the team fined unless there's descent or a player running a long way at the ref like Lemina for Wolves that time -

Bounanotte is some player but it's such a brain dead yellow with how easy they give them out -
I've got no issue with trying to catch more audio of the crowd but we essentially have kids shouting nonsense down one mic and a pi$$ed up Huddersfield fan shouting abuse at every man and their dog at the other end

What do you miss from football as it used to be ?
LcFc_Smiv replied to Elsie Effcee's topic in General Football and Sport
Mainly the authenticity of it. My earliest memories were turning up as a kid at Filbert street, the pre-match music, the fact that being a Leicester City fan was a very unique feeling that I only shared with those who followed our club. Now every club feels like it's all rinse and repeat, the stadiums to some extent, the 'fan engagement', the music, the shitty PL franchise pushed down your throat in every single way. It's not our club anymore, it's a franchise under the PL umbrella that is marketed to thousands around the world who have no real interest or connection to Leicester, who the club or the fans are. I'm not knocking those who have maybe supported the club or taken an interest over the previous years who aren't from the city, I'm no better of a fan than you, rather I'm just fed up with how clubs, the leagues and football itself was happy to sell its soul to generate more interest and as they all want, more £££. -

The other day the players took it upon themselves to turn around a 2-0 deficit but a poor second half showing and it's on the manager? -

It's the correct decision. The 18 is stood on the keeper as the corner comes in, as the header is made hes still in an offside position, goes to head the ball and misses it with it going through to Morris who scores who was clearly on side. There's no way he's raising the flag there for Morris as the assistant will have the best view of him of any player and the flag for the 18 would be correct. -
I thought Glasner killed his team taking him off for Mateta, they at least seemed to have some outlet when he drifted along the line. The forest centre backs did a job on Mateta and were pretty happy when everything came within the width of the penalty box.
-
Mav and Fats can have a field day against Forest if we get it right, they struggled to deal with the wide men who wanted to get at their men.
-
They sent him to the monitor because the on field decision was offside, late flag from the linesman. Hence the loud cheer around the ground Sky again dropping the ball and not explaining what had happened.
-
The nudge doesn't have any impact because it happened after the corner kick was taken and before Stones heads the ball which is where the offside issue then comes into play. Sky are horrendous for drumming up controversy and preying on fans who don't have the knowledge or care to know the laws of the game.
-
That must be gutting, but you can't rule that out, he's nowhere near it.
-
Wolves will give a penalty away before the end here, too worried about wrestling and making little trips off the ball rather than defending the box. Getting riled up and playing into Man City's antics.

But its situational and of the referees subjective view to make these calls. Next week the same might happen and the ball might be more towards the edge of the 6 yard box rather than on top of the keeper so it does have an impact. Everyone looks at these decisions as black and white but there very much grey and that's why we have officials to judge and make these decisions, on a situation by situation basis. -
Supposedly Corberan as good as done with Oxford manager ready to go WBA.

I think it's fair to acknowledge that some on here post nonsense for the sake of just not liking him, others put forward well constructed views on him. Largely the negativity seems to take over, but there's some on here I agree with despite myself thinking he deserves more time.
