  1. I still think Birmingham won't reach the height of their expectations with Davies in charge, my prediction is he will be gone by Christmas.
  2. Souza will be a massive loss for them, Peck will get better and they have Arblaster to return from injury but they always looked a shadow of the team they could be when they were without Souza last season.
  3. I have no problem with us moving on players like JJ to clear wages and start to rebuild the squad, but signings like this would completely defeat the point. His wages wouldn't be as big, but it's a downgrade in quality, a player blocking the pathway of others and we're likely stuck with him until his contract expires which with us could be another 3-4 years.
  4. I've just made the drive this morning from Barnsley to Alderly Edge to visit Running Bear to get my gait analysis done. I picked up a pair of Clifton 9s online last year following some shin splints and as good as they have been I've had a bit of pain in my hips over longer runs. Essentially this morning has shown I overpronate on my right, while my left stays pretty strong. Ended up going with a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 which are in a very reasonable price range. Definitely worth the visit for anyone who's ever out that way, there were some serious looking runners in there who had a few fair boxes around them I imagine dropping a fair bit of £££.
  5. I would say it's a case of whoever has been partnered alongside him has had a car crash of a centre back as a partner since he arrived.
  6. I don't get the reason on why we need to sh!t on a player or fan base for our clubs bad decisions, particularly when that no mark club was comfortably above us the past season. He will have played for Fulham in some of his best years and gave his all for their club being involved in some of their recent success and seems to have been a key figure in some of their off field facing roles?? It was a bad move on our part and he's not of the standard we require, it doesn't mean he didn't do well for someone else actually showing some technical ability and that their fans should be derided for their appreciation towards him.
  7. It's a bit like the fact that no other club would even consider offering someone like Ashley Young a contract except for us!
  8. Supposedly Southampton are not in a good place on the pitch, Still has them going even harder with playing out from the back. Same mistakes that happened last season are still happening and supposedly some frustration that players are not able to do what is wanted.
  9. Apart from VK who we can assume is injured and BDR who is still on extended leave
  10. Some form of string of string of chants to get the media attention is needed as soon as we are back in the ground, along the lines of... We want Kbet gone/we want king power out You corrupt b@stards, you know what you are Send them down (rinse and repeat) There's plenty of avenues to hit them from but I think it raises the concern we as a fan base have of an issue that's getting plenty of attention at the moment and puts more heat on those in charge.
  11. Don't get me wrong, any sponsor of this kind is extremely poor, but seeing the word 'Bet' actually on one of our shirts killed a bit of me.
  12. I normally laugh at the amount of anger on here, but for this topic to have none? This is as horrible a transfer rumour as I have seen he's poor, even compared to VK!
  13. Red Bull is likely to be just a drinks sponsorship deal and we get their products for plastering their logo all over our coolers and bottles. Most clubs will use companies such as Powerade, Gatorade, lucozade etc in return they get their sports drinks/water, I'm pretty sure Arsenal had a deal with Prime two seasons ago. Clubs normally just use their own products in the bottles as the stuff these companies supply is far from performance quality.
  14. I assume at these prices it's likely not going to make members?
  15. No, he will be out of a job before Christmas, tactically not good enough unless he learns a lot from last year. Brum were where they were on strength of their squad and the money they spent.
  16. While it's strong in numbers I think we have to maintain a number of options in there particularly with the injury records of Ricky P and JJ. It also depends whether we are going with a back 4 or 5, Aluko seems to have the ability and size to operate in one of the more central positions particularly if we go with a 3 and Thomas did that role well towards the end of last season. As much as I wanted VK to work for us I think it's getting to the point we look to move him on, I don't think he's a bad player or a particular weak point, but he offers little in comparison to the others without any form of return. Once the season gets going in this league and the games come thick and fast I think we will need that depth across the back, there seems to be a number of ways you can utilise the individuals in those positions so it will interesting to see how the manager makes the most of their qualities.
  17. McAteer certainly gets in the right positions, he's one of the few who he makes a run to get across the front of the keeper or get in at the back post, it's just his technical ability that lets him down. However we saw he started in the Championship last time, I think if you have no one else he's a good option without pulling other players out of a position where they can thrive.
  18. Martin was interviewed and agreed pre-pending points deduction announcement, we went quiet on him and RVN stayed in position. I imagine as others have suggested, the finances are not in a good place.
  19. I don't know whether this is a serious post or not because who knows on here anymore, but again this is another perfect example of a process that typically moves slowly. The meltdown on here is brilliant though.
  20. Chrissy Wilders blue and white army
  21. Pretty much everything Ric has said is the same at which I was told, apart from the fact that RM had assurances they would be moving Rudkin on, the club up for sale wasn't something that was mentioned, although that seems more plausible. I was also told RM pulled the plug when we delayed on sacking RVN, the second time we have left him waiting after leading him on before we appointed Maresca.
  22. He only returned yesterday
  23. I get it, I really do around how we have been mismanaged by leadership of the club and I'm far from supporting those in charge. However, I think that even they will have someone lined up and ready to go, don't get me wrong, the fact it's going on this long is massively questionable on their behalf anyway. If there wasn't anyone at all in the picture we would know because that's when players and agents would be leaking all sorts to get out of there.
  24. I reckon Sunday
