Not the marathon I wanted, quads felt like they filled with cement with 10 miles to go, after that it became run/walk with each run causing something else to tighten up Sub 4, turned into a hobble to go sub 5, but I loved every minute of that. -
Mowbray is horrendous, I have Rovers and Baggies mates who both have hated watching their teams under him. Doesnt get his best out of the better players, obsessed with playing his forwards out wide, either makes loads of changes that make no sense, or is stubborn to make changes when needed.

Been pretty pro-Rowett, could see some of the good he has done for us but that interview has wound be up. Talking about it being fairly even, nonchalantly stating a set piece cost us again, saying we dealt with Portsmouth and their style of play. Does anyone realise the sh*t we are in and that we should be taking the games to teams, we shouldn't be settling for even we should be fighting to come out on top, we should be ****ing livid that we can't deal with simple ****ing balls into the box every ****ing week

It has nothing to do with his talent, more his lack of heart and attitude. In that sense hes as responsible as everyone else, he doesn't give a f**k

One day out from Manchester marathon, get me going im becoming irritable! -
I get the point, but you only have to read through his and other ex pros posts on LinkedIn, its them marketing themselves for the next opportunity or the next role. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't reflect well, but its the same material as 99% of the other content on there, a story dramatised for reach and to generate reaction and get him his next gig.

It would appear neither is realism.

There were points in the first half where they showed intent to get forward and the crowd responded, in return we seemed to keep that momentum up on the pitch then there was something silly like Thomas turning back rather than playing Mav down the line or Fatawu stood offside as we work it brilliantly out to him and it just killed it again. From the minute they came out in the second half you knew we were going to struggle, crowd was flat, players were flat and they didn't give any reason to get behind them. I think this is almost an issue the club has created as well though, its a very sterile, generalised environment, there's nothing unique to us or our history as a club within the stadium (the video montage doesn't count, nearly every club in a bowl stadium like our own runs their own with their respective clips).

F*** sake I came to make the same joke but you're 9 hours wittier than me

I don't think he will. I think he will be well aware of what's going on and his part in this issues the club has but equally he will be backing himself to come good and get people back on side. The issue is you need people around you who hold you accountable and tell you when its time to go, we don't have that. We have a hierarchy that will double down in support of each other and lay the blame at someone elses feet. Unfortunately he is only a symptom of a cancer that has infected our club.

People seemed almost uneasy to join in with the Rudkin out chants but far more willing with top plays polo and sack the board, maybe the penny is dropping?

He has a number of senior pros around him at the setup of the free kick, they have obviously decided they are going to try something and instructed him to do so. Don't get me wrong hes the one who has made the error, hes massively under hit the pass, but hes only as responsible as the group around him, who again get it so wrong time after time, which is as Rowett alluded to in his post match. -

Took the Mrs who is a Sheff Utd season ticket holder yesterday, yes she was very pleased she had to miss her lot win to watch our dross. Her thoughts on it were: -why are their some people sat their like that was ok? If that was at Bramall Lane everyone would be going mad -she asked what the top song was about, when I pointed out where he sits and he wasn't there she said that was "embarrassing" -on Fatawu and Mavididi who she constantly got mixed up, one of them is very good but not bothered, the other is rubbish but at least he tries -she likes Skipp and would take him at Sheff Utd as we "lost any energy when he went off" -Luke Thomas looks 10 times the player they had on loan and hes still sh!t (this one made me laugh) -we should have had 3 goals in the first half (Ricky P, Fatawu, and the one cleared off the line), you knew we were gonna lose not taking one of them -her final point which was her most damning which she actually said before the game was when you arrive everything just feels really disconnected, at Brammall Lane your going in with everyone their for the club there's a buzz, at leicester its just people getting together on Saturday afternoon, which i hadn't thought about, but then remembered I can't think of the last time I came up from the concourse seeing the pitch and that feeling you get -
Pretty much spot on and summarised well, as I say, very odd to hear a manager talk that way.
-
I don't know what to think after that interview, hes not even tried to BS. Told us that the players lack fight and grit, said they only want to score a perfect goal or screamer, said they aren't capable of playing any other way but is just so calm about it. Equally just faking trying something different.
-
Rowett said it was a decision made by the players on the pitch

I was watching Bromley Shrewsbury last night, just think that's likely to be an away day for us next season.
-
I imagine hes well aware of the limitations that are in place at Lincoln which eases the pressure for him. I was reading that they have a self-imposed wage cap that works out at about 3.5k per week per player, which will be considerably less than others they have beat to promotion. I think if he had any sense he would stay well clear of us. Before we bring anyone in though we need to address how we run our club, the money we spend, and start to look at how well run clubs like Lincoln are operating to build the foundations of what is to come. The likely and worse case scenario is we will just throw whatever is left financially at whatever we can to get out of the mess that same strategy has put us in.
-
We all would have!!
-
Can't be a red if we played the advantage. Has to stop play to send him off, which equally you would argue skipp gaining possession isn't much of an advantage.
-
Fatawu again
-
It's so lazy from Fatawu you could see they had two men ready to press Winks, got to take greater care of the ball

After International Break - Clueless as ever?
LcFc_Smiv replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
Imagine the uproar of keeping those not called up to international football in from monday to the following Thursday and picking up a load of injuries. It's common sense to know you can easily get some decent work in mon-fri, mon-thurs and not lose your mind that someone who knows the job better than any on here is willing to take a few days with family in between.
