  1. What, than winning the Prem?
  2. Except our best two wins at the end of the season came when we had less possession and were more direct. Except we won the Prem playing low possession football. Think all you possession fan boys are barking up the wrong tree. 🤣🤣
  3. Are we currently seeing in the FA Cup Final another example of possession not really mattering?
  4. We will need a manager who is pragmatic, flexible in terms of ideology and game plan and who can work with little or no money. In short we do need Harry Potter.
  5. Just need some LCFC Samba’s to go with it.
  6. I can confirm it’s absolute BS. Mourinho is going to be our next manager. Heard it here first and has nothing to do with alcohol.
  7. Nope. Not them.
  8. We’re in the Prem. I’d be surprised if it’s not a name.
  9. You cannot fault him if he goes, it’s a no brainer, anyone in his position would. Thanks and good luck Enzo. Now I hope our club is actively looking at replacements. Potter, Moyes, Poch, Mourinho - there are loads out there at present, but likely to be a known name because you know, Prem.
  10. Chuck the £8.5 million compensation at a years contract for Mourinhio? That would be a ride 🤣🤣🤣
  11. Graham Whouness? Fuch off 🤣🤣🤣
  12. Absolutely he will and even if he didn’t he would still be an ex Chelsea manager. It’s win win for Enzo. Everyone in football knows Chelsea is a lunatic asylum so it’s an absolute free hit which only has massive benefits. Staying with us is the real poisoned chalice for Enzo.
  13. As you say, any manager worth his salt and yet Enzo persisted when it was clearly going to shit. The club wanting this style of football shows me that there is no one in charge of the club who really knows anything about football. Possession based ideology is actually very good if you have a phenomenal team who can achieve it. Most teams don’t and cannot execute it. The results that turned our season around at the end came, pretty much, from games where we were not dominant in terms of possession but active and aggressive on the counter. Anyway, seems like Utd have scoped out McKenna so now more likely Enzo will go to Chelsea. Idiot owners thinking he will do an Arteta and helps that he looks like Peo mk2
  14. His style will work in the Prem, just not with us and our squad or likely squad additions. It will work at Chelsea. I’m not going to wring my hands about it. If I was him I’d go. 99.9% of people would. It’s Chelsea, London, huge club, vast step up, good players in a bloated squad, money apparently and a big wage hike. Basket case club but so is ours. If he stays he gets sacked because we will be absolute bobbins. That happens and his stock falls. Whatever happens at Chelsea his stock either rises or is maintained simply because everyone knows it’s a tough gig for many off field reasons. WILL he be offered the job? Be madness if he is, but it’s Chelsea.
  15. Because we haven’t got the players and won’t make the smart buys necessary. You also contradict what you are saying. Possession based football is about having the most possession. You quite clearly say we won’t. So surely we need to think of something else? Anyway, we keep Enzo and play his style come back to me after a couple of months. Doomed mate.
  16. You disagree? Perhaps explain then.
  17. Yes We will have to change. This style of play in the Prem with the squad we will have is doomed to failure.
  18. We are run by idiots Top to bottom (Rudkin - because he’s an arse). There is no real footballing knowledge in our Hierarchy. This possession football at all costs is old now. Our best performances at the end of the season came from less possession and more direct thrust. Possession football only works if you have significantly better players than the opposition. We don’t and we won’t. Sometimes you have to be pragmatic. Moyes would do a job. Potter unlikely to come. Enzo would likely be sacked by Christmas - Chelsea is a no brainer for him if it is offered.
  19. Whilst the above post by Finners is spot on it doesn’t factor in the positives for any manager. Chelsea have a squad full of talent and an enviable youth system. They are not going to get relegated. They likely will push for cups. Managers wage would be very good. It’s London. Chelsea are a big name, worthy or not. Going there and ‘failing’ isn’t going to mar anyone’s CV at this time because everyone can see they are a basket case. For someone like Enzo it’s a win win. Only caveat being the amount of control he would get.
  20. This is the worry. We show glimpses of genius and then absolute scenes of stupidity. I just hope everyone is ready for relegation. I think if we defy that this season it will be almost as miraculous as winning the league.
  21. Might have been a power play by Enzo, but a stupid one. Coady is decent and there were times here we could have done with him last season. Yes we got across the line, but making a point by not playing a decent player seems a tad petulant to me.
  22. I prefer them BBQ’d
  23. You don’t even want to know what tube just played in my head. Johnny Morris.🤣🤣
  24. Has John Cleese ever been a manager? That would be a laugh.
  25. If they offer him the job he’s gone. Be stupid not to. Get that job on your CV and you’re moving up. They won’t get relegated. We likely will. Anyway, they won’t offer him the job so let’s all panic for a bit and the man settle down to reality.
