Are people really slating Fats? I thought he was one of the better players in the pitch today. Did some brilliant work. If it wasn’t for the fact Ndidi was dead on his feet some of his passes might have led to something sooner.
-
Just put all 11 in the box and see if we can walk it in. Nearly didn’t today.

Used to take mine at the Walkers in Division 1, and we’d bloody score nearly every time. -

Did he not notice the throw on Fats, the penalty for the foul on Justin, the double grab on Vardy, amongst others? This is what I dislike about such comments, be fair across the board or say nothing. -

Today’s Ref was clearly an imposter. Obvious fouls let go. Yellows instead of reds. At least one clear penalty missed. It was pretty much the worst performance from a ref I’ve seen, and I’ve seen some shockers this season. -
Did we make that hard or what? Trying to complete 20 passes in the box with 20 players in there was insane. Another symptom of Enzo ball allowing teams to retreat back in force. Anyway, we won. Wasn’t sure the the ticker would survive. Holy cow.
-
Unfortunate symptom of Enzo ball. Fuch about and find out. We just did. Ridiculous at this point in the season. Oh and we’ve been poor mainly due to Birmingham working like absolute dogs.

What would it take to turn on the owners?

.well, yeah, it could go very badly wrong. But life will go on. Be sad and upsetting but you know….. -
Winks or Vesty for me. Honourable mention to Herms who has been very good. KDH doesn’t get a look in in my opinion, been far too patchy and invisible in some games.

We enjoy the ride we’ve had and get on with snivelling mediocrity. Thats what. The dream is gone. -
We just need to win em all folks. Thats the mindset. Go out and win em all. No ifs buts or maybe’s. No excuses.
-
Mate, seriously, how could you do that to us?
-
Bit late but nailed on.

Was trying to get on another thread but got deflected into this one. Have Ipswich won yet?
-
Everything good now yeah? We all back on the optimistic bus? Raise our hopes from the dead and then……. Anyway, good win, let’s all enjoy it and see what happens next.
-
The urgency has been coached out. You okay this way and that’s it at all times. No panic. No drama. No drive. Pass pass pass lose it. There is no place for urgency.
-
Shouldn’t the thread title be changed from tactics to simply TACTIC?
-
Reminds me of Black Adder Goes Forth, or, in reality, the actual tactics of the British army in WW1. Form up, walk forward slowly, anyone who doesn’t comply gets shot - everyone else gets shot anyway. Rinse and repeat. Luckily the only thing truly dying now is our hope.

Far more likely Enzo walks than is sacked. The team likely know we are screwed if we get promoted. All the financial issues give him a perfect excuse to bail without damage to his reputation. The things is, if we had players good enough for this style it would likely work. We have a squad easily good enough to get promoted but really not good enough for the Prem. Enzo ball for the last 8 games isn’t going to achieve promotion. Maybe he should give Cambiasso a call for guidance, I mean it supposedly worked for old Nige 🤣🤣🤣
-
It will be the same. Ricky P likely, Daka for Vardy hopefully. Rest will be pretty much the same. Approach will be the same. Outcome likely other same. Mind you it would be typical Leicester to get a great result, raise expectations again and then let us all down even harder.

It’s not rocket science. Teams have sussed us and seen how to nullify us. Add in to that the fact we are so slow that any potential advantage gained from our mind numbing passing game is gone by the time we reach the final 3rd of the pitch. Yesterday Bristol doubled up on our wingers and rarely did we see them go past the last man. Usually teams are back behind the ball and we have to then find a way through 10 and even all 11 on occasion. It is turgid robotic football that has strangled the creativity, drive and passion out of every player. There is never any urgency. continue like this and we are done. Simple.
-
Sadly football is reflecting the world around us quite accurately.
-
You mean his Minnie me?
-
I have to say I think it’s a function of the football they’re asked to play. It’s so rigid and structured you might as well employ robots. No wonder teams have sussed us, it’s mind numbing. If the players are coached to play like that no matter what, then where does the fire and passion and drive come from? It can’t because they HAVE to play it back and sideways. They HAVE to stick to the system. I still maintain that any half competent manager could have done what Enzo has this season and likely better. Our squad IS good enough.
-
Strangely I’m not in the Enzo out camp IF he can show some imagination and adaptability. Trouble is it’s like a compressed Rodgers experience - flying for a start, playing some good football, then straight off a cliff for absolutely no discernible reason. Sure teams have sussed how to stifle us, but our players, on paper are way better. I think old Enzo needs to give big Nige a call. unfortunately I can only see this going one way now and it seems most on here have finally realised it too. The thing is our esteemed owner and his incompetent henchfolk will take until June 21st to realise it.
