Rudkin: sets house on fire Rudkin: calls the fire brigade after 5 or 6 hours KPFC: No but you've got to give Rudkin credit for trying to put out the fire

Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)

For those hoping we sell, I think we need to consider how useful this guy could be for us in league 2 in 2 years time. -
On Nigel Pearson's birthday, click the link below to read Jordan Ayew's pre-Charlton thoughts.

Again, I don't think it was intended that way. I'm sorry to use sweeping generalisations but have you met anyone who still supports KP, Rudkin etc & thinks those who are showing discontent are ungrateful? Those people are simple. The tone of the statement matches the characteristics of the KPFC brigade. Simple.

I don’t think it’s deliberate in fairness, I think the author is pretty clearly at best illiterate and at worst a complete cretin.

Ex Players - They used to play for us

One of the harder blokes to like in football. He's had a hard break on the injury front though. He was brilliant for us before that pre-season injury. -
They're continuously utterly oblivious to fan feeling. Have been for 5 years. Cannot recommend blocking them on socials more.

Anything from the Tinder thread, god rest its soul.

Since the 22/23 season (7 windows later), we've had 3 genuinely good signings - Fatawu, Hermansen, BEK. Somewhat ambitious to hope for three in the space of two weeks.
-
The question is, is Winks willing to set an earlier alarm to make the 12:30 KO?
-
The 1st team on paper is good but the majority of the 1st team’s attitude absolutely honks. Such an unlikeable club.
-
Gun to Rudkin’s head I genuinely don’t think he’d be able to tell you what half of these positions are, let along sign them.
-
Monga, Fatawu, Ricardo, Bilal (until next week). The rest of them can genuinely get ****ed.
-
I reckon I’ve said this every week for about 3 years
-
He's in a tough spot because £ for £ he's looking like he could well be one of the very worst signings this club has made in the last 10 years if he continues on this trajectory, and that is a seriously damning accusation. People will rightly point to Musa, Slimani, Ward as being worse and they probably are... but £20m on Skipp could well end up looking worse.
-
It's not really about him, it's more the fact that we absolutely cannot afford to play Skipp & Soumare this season if we want to get promoted. Additionally, do you trust the Director of Football to use the £5m we'd get for Winks on anyone half as good as him?
-
Completely agree - him giving it back is one of the more likeable things he's done. Shows he has an ounce of professional pride.
-
I hope he knew how prominent he is in many of our memories of the best days of our lives as Leicester fans. RIP

It’s been time to go for a while but the reality is this club doesn’t know how to sell players. The question we need to ask is would we rather get a humiliating fee for him a-la Hermansen or have him as an option this year and see him leave for free in the summer.

Conor Coady sold to Wrexham - official

It's amazing that we sell a player we bought for £8m 2 years ago, for 25% of that price and anyone could deem the transfer to shed a "positive light" on the people who signed it all off -
Anthony Herlihy – Director of Noncommunication
daddylonglegs replied to thlcfc93's topic in Leicester City Forum
Again, this shouldn't be a personal thing. It's the same with Rudkin. It is fundamentally not these people's faults that they have been promoted above their capabilities & continue to be employed despite poor performance. It is not up to them to take the moral & professional highground and admit they're not up to the job, sacrificing what is likely to be a very enjoyable pay package. The thread may be titled "Anthony Herlihy", but this is another Aiyawatt specific issue. -
It epitomises where they're at at the moment. They're just getting it all so horribly wrong. And have been for years now.

Interested to gauge if everyone's excitement (Or lack thereof) is aligned with my own... Edit: your reason for voting your level of excitement obviously doesn’t have to align with the rationale after the voting option…

I can't wait for the hour leading up to the game on Sunday after the team is announced. It was absolute chaos on here when Cooper didn't pick Ricardo in his final XI before the first game of the season. I expect more of the same when we see big Bobby & Jordan up top for the might foxes on Sunday.
