Yes it’s well known that last summer Wes was kicking up a stink when we brought Dragovic in. He was chucking his weight around and it’s no different now.

Certain players are looking out for themselves and don’t want to be replaced. Simple as that really. Both Morgan and Simpson are trying to cling on to their place in the squad and will do anything they can, including bad mouthing the manager. Acting like shitbags really. I know for a fact Morgan is desperate to try and get Puel sacked so that he can cling on to his influence and his captaincy at the club beyond the summer.

Personally think Hamza played really well in midfield. Both he and Silva are plus points from that game for me. I feel we should get them playing together again on Thursday against Southampton. Do you agree or do you think Ndidi should come straight back in?

I don’t necessarily buy into getting rid but we need to buy a young goalkeeper with the real potential of becoming number 1. The problem is Kasper is too comfortable. As an example if Stoke go down buying someone like Jack Butland would really increase the competition - which is non-existent at this point. Buying somebody with the medium/long term aim of replacing Kasper in the next 18 months should be a priority.

With Amartey and Simpson being a bomb scare. I’d go 3-5-2. Kasper Maguire Morgan (would prefer Dragovic) Fuchs Albrighton Ndidi Iborra Chilwell Riyad Iheanacho Vaedy Subs: Hamer, Dragovic, James, Silva, Gray, Diabate, Okazaki.

Who cares really? Both him and his buddy Wes are on borrowed time. Both not good enough anymore for the way the club wants to play football. He was absolutely dross against Stoke and deserved dropping.

Kasper Albrighton Dragovic Maguire Chilwell Ndidi Silva Mahrez Iheanacho Diabate Vardy

Against Manchester City who have made a habit of battering teams this season. Dragovic and Maguire hardly put a foot wrong before that game. Maguire looks like he has no faith in Wes’s footballing ability and it’s having a detrimental impact on his performance.

Both don’t suit the football we want to play now. Both of them are ****ing liabilities when asked to do something other than head and hoof the **** clear.

**** Danny Simpson off and **** Wes Morgan off. It’s no coincidence since both have been back in the side that we have started going backwards in performance. The perfect example was Wes underhitting a simple 5 yard pass to Riyad that nearly resulted in conceding possession just outside our box and Danny Simpson kept misplacing passes and losing possession. Both not good enough at all for the style of football we want to play now. Albrighton should be at right back for the rest of the season till we can improve that position in the summer. Dragovic is twice the player Wes Morgan is.

Not sure if it’s just me but recently I’ve felt Puel has been making too many changes to the lineup. The run of games where we kept 4 clean sheets in the league, with a back 4 of Amartey, Dragovic, Maguire and Chilwell. Why did he start to chop and change? Bringing Simpson straight back in and Amartey has dropped off the face of the earth, what does that really say to players? You can play well but I’m still dropping you? (I know the Everton game was poor but there were exentuating circumstances around that game). Yesterday, was there any need to make any changes at half time after we got back into the game and we looked fairly comfortable at 1-1 when the whistle blew for half time? I just think he’s trying to be too clever and it’s backfiring.

Would rather have seen a midfield 3 of Ndidi, Iborra and Silva today. I personally feel that Iborra playing as the holding midfielder, gives Ndidi more freedom which help him touch another level. 2nd half for me the team should have looked like this: Kasper Albrighton Drago Maguire Fuchs Chilwell Ndidi Iborra Silva Diabate Vardy

Quite simply, if we want to develop into more of a possession based side, we need a new goalkeeper who is calm, composed and has quality distribution. Kasper unfortunately is none of those 3 things.

He won’t play tomorrow. There would be uproar amongst the squad (especially from the players in the same position) as they’ve manned the fort without Riyad and he can’t just swan back in the day before a game and make the squad.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying they need to be thrust straight into the first team but considering it’s the first time they’ve all played together it looks promising

Barnes is getting in some lovely positions. Made a run a few minutes ago that if Maguire saw the pass would have been in on goal. Looks good and needs time to settle. Can you believe Diabate has been playing in the French 2nd division?
