  1. He's not responded to our problems, comes across as having blind faith in his own abilities, a bit like the last person in the hot seat. Never for one moment considering the worse will happen, but traction is a dangerous thing, there is a point of no return. And it seems that is where we are at, yet again. I fear the only thing he will be winning, is a big slice of humble pie, and if that's the case, hope he is also served his P45 for dessert.
  2. Away record before the new year 10-2-1, since then, 3-1-4. So likely another defeat coming, especially as we're 1pt from last 3 away. Only saving grace is this is our penultimate away game so 3 of last 4 at home, so it'd be mega if we won Friday, it would also guarantee top spot again, for a few hours at least.
  3. FFS we really do make things difficult for ourselves... That was as big a pile of cack I've seen all season, from both teams. Like watching a league 2 game.
  4. I'm pretty sure this isn't the first goal of its sort this season but can't remember if mads or defenders to blame, and I think 4 or 5 times this sort of thing has happened but not resulted in conceding as well. First thing I thought to myself yesterday is how come we are the only team conceding in this manner? Maybe cos I don't watch other teams that much, but it mostly seems a problem for us, and mostly this season too. It just takes a tiny bit of intelligence to avoid it, it should basically never happen. Could have cost us dearly, and I'm not sure why the big love in for Mads, he doesn't normally have much to do then does something like that yesterday. Has a bit too prove in my eyes, I prefer what I've seen from stolar tbh. Happy to see what happens when shots are flying in left right and centre in the PL though, then we'll know how good he is.
  5. It's all a mess. It's not been advantageous to us really, quite the opposite is true. In that time period the overspend occurs we went from top 6 challengers to mediocre to absolute shite. Why would we face a points deduction this season from rules we broke in the PL over three years anyway? We aren't guilty of anything in the FL until June either, by which time we maybe back in the PL. Maybe PL and football league should have been more joined up in the first place? But they can't even agree how funding should be split and see themselves as very separate entities. On top of that, our relegation was down to Everton who had been breaking the rules longer than we have. So we should have stayed up, they gone down and we get our penalty as deserved in the PL this year, they should have had theirs last year. As most of the losses are wages, that's the very reason we have been unable to do anything about the them. Nobody wants nacho on 80k a week, or the many others in our squad in same situation. Most of these decisions were made at a time we were punching above our weight and after we were PL champs, then challenging in Europe. So to summarise we've broke the rules but we haven't gained from them, the opposite is true (relegation, disinterested players/manager ie Bodger's etc) and we've had this anchor around our neck and not able to anything about it for a few years (we can't make sales happen, it's down to players) Also it's not like we need to call in administrators or anything, KP are committed to funding us. However if PL or FL get their way, they'll probably try and put us out of business.
  6. Absolutely take it; there is in reality little difference between 1st and 2nd. We'd all be able to look back on how we nearly threw everything away but did enough in the end to achieve our aim, whilst sipping a pint in the summer heatwave, chuckling that Enzo is still Pep the Messiah mark2. Nothing not to like about that.
  7. Yeah the problem is they didn't act soon enough
  8. So what good does it serve to stick with him in another season in the championship, when he couldn't achieve it with one of the best squads to compete at this level? Whichever way you look at it, this guy is a complete f**k up.
  9. Mav has been crap, and fata bloody awful. Says it all, he's a shite manager who thinks he is amazing
  10. Enzo done nothing when pressure is on, he's a one trick pony. He has to go, it's the biggest f**k up in footballing history. A few weeks ago we were 97% going up, now it's probably 10%. An utter disaster, almost as if it's planned this way, due to ffp and all that shite. I've a good mind just to disrupt future games, something is very very wrong.
  11. To be honest, Vardy was sh*t today and it's down to him we lost, really. Daka though has form right the way through the season, bar a couple of games he was good. So I'd still rather see Vardy.
  12. Literally boo when they come out Monday, they are disgusting, the players and the manager. F**k them all
  13. That was f'ing s'ht. This collapse is probably the worst in football history. Sack the manger
  14. Wouldn't suprise me if this lot finish 4th at this rate, the top two beginning to look like a pipe dream considering the sh*t show of a year we've had. Dunno what people have seen to suggest anything other than play offs now, hopefully we'll hang onto 3rd and get our day at Wembley.
  15. Everything after we went 2-2 was disappointing.
  16. Let's face it that was shite, cut through us like mustard and we offered little on the attack. The only hope is it's following my fc24 game the other day. We score around 65 and go on to win 3-2
  17. Let's hope lightening strikes twice.... right now feels more likely we'll be sanctioned to the max, top will go AWOL with rudders, we'll become insolvent and then end up being reformed as Leicester fosse in some league lower than hell itself. But in 2046 we'll be back in the prem, with Leicester fans beside themselves how our demise was the start of something special. Just joking btw.... I think... ;-)
  18. I was playing fc24 online a couple of days ago and no other than Chelsea away I was paired with. We were two nil down at half time, before we scored in the 64th minute, then two more followed in the last 10, the last of which was in the 90th. So 3-2 to Leicester it was, but after the third in the 90th, the swine quit the game....
  19. We were, and winning that is still the worst league position in our history we've ever finished in. But no doubt, they'll be someone back then saying we should be delighted to be in league one and winning it. It's all swings and roundabouts, the Leicester city business plan must be conducted on a snakes and ladders game board. It's all we've ever known, well those that have been around long enough. I do get why young fans especially will bemoan our current situation, they've only ever known better times. And in many ways, they're right to think like that. We have thrown away a massive opportunity, no doubt about that.
  20. We must give this our best shot, as others pointed out we have best part of two weeks to recover. Not only that, unless I'm mistaken, one of the semi finalists will be wolves or cov, so if we were to win Sunday there is as much chance as not its one of them we'll face to get to the final.
  21. Stolar Mads. Ward Justin Doyle Faes Souttar Coady Winks Mav. Vardy
  22. Simply a must win game, Hull probably the tougher of the two. With our currently depleted squad and the recent form, I'm very very afraid of what this week holds. Maybe the football gods can save us and Leeds and Ipswich have a week from hell....
  23. Riccy yes, ndidi he been out so long it's hard to imagine he'll be totally match fit and ready to give his all immediately. Plus playing catch-up with 9 to go is a dire situation to be in. Was reading somewhere no team has lost 3 in a row in the second half the season and gone on to win the division in decades, not sure if just second tier or any. Apparently the last team to do it was Leicester in the 50s....
  24. Well, my prediction is by the end of next week we ain't even top and already starting to play catch up, with how many to go? We won't be playing on 16th weekend now either, so could well be spending a few weeks out of the top two if we like it or not .... Things must change for the better this week, or we're done.....
