  1. Some ‘top six’ brains are absolutely cooked. Trying to conjure some conspiracy over the Arsenal red card and Man City goal today which were both 100% correct decisions.
  2. I love the idea that Howard Webb is sat there like some kind of sontaran overlord, manipulating referees into making the *checks notes* correct decisions
  3. I have little sympathy for the democrats, they needed to offer more in many policy areas. The whole system there is a binfire. If they lose, rather than attacking Trump, they need to start again and restratagise and offer something for the masses.
  4. The only consolation for me would be that the neoconservatives would probably be done forever but that’s me clutching at straws and I realise the alternative may be just as bad.
  5. I know it doesn’t work like this, but looking at the nationwide polls, in 2020, Biden was leading by about 7-9% which was enough to win. In 2016, Clinton was leading between 3-5% which ultimately was not a big enough lead to take the electoral college. This time around Harris is leading by 1-2% and that lead seems to be reducing in the past few weeks. I really think it’s going to be difficult for her to win. 538 gives Trump a 52% chance of winning. It is a toss up but the trend is not good for Harris
  6. One thing about Winks. He was played into the ground last season and massively fatigued by the end of the season. Managing his minutes and rotating in midfield may not actually be a bad thing.
  7. If we win 6 of our last 30 games, do you think that’ll be enough to stay up? That would be 27 points plus you’d think 6 or 7 draws. And I’d like to think that would be a worst case scenario.
  8. It surely is a diet thing. I’d love to know if this is a mainly British/American trend. If the southern European countries aren’t seeing the same issues, I really wouldn’t be surprised given their reliance on whole foods.
  9. We did it three weeks in a row in 2015/16
  10. If Man City and Forest do a job this weekend and we win on Friday, we’ll be 9 (NINE) points clearly of 18th, at this stage. That would probably be way beyond what any of us could’ve hoped for.
  11. We like to think that Enzo would’ve got us off to this semi decent start (and I think we would) but we would’ve also become unstuck in more games too. The one thing even compared to Enzo that Cooper deserves massive credit, our players are clearly mentally stronger this season.
  12. Lando is just not good enough to win a world championship yet imo. A champion driver wouldn’t throw away second like that.
  13. The unfortunate truth is that Ipswich and Southampton have played much more expansively than us and are really, really struggling. Burnley and Luton did the same last season and really, really struggled (Sheff Utd were just crap). To stay up, it’s likely that you’re going to have to play pragmatic football such is the nature of the beast.
  14. This will be a dogfight. They play a similar brand of football with a more tactically astute manager and probably better players. We can win it and it’s one to really get stuck into as supporters.
  15. One thing I do appreciate is having a bunch of lads who fight again, after the 2022/23 fiasco. The Southampton game that season, we turned up, put in 50% effort thinking we’d smash them. These lads work for it and give 100% and if they’re doing that, we’ll be fine.
  16. The mission this season is to stay up. It doesn’t matter if it’s by 1 goal on points difference, or if we coast in to 11th or 12th. We stay up, we build, we can attract better players and more importantly better managers. If we go down we probably get a points deduction and it could be a long way back. It does not matter how we play, what decisions the coach makes etc, we just need to be winning games. We’re almost a third to the points that we’ll need to stay up. My god cooper is frustrating, but we’re doing what we need to do. So unless the situation deteriorates, then he gets full backing for the time being. Today was an excellent win, any away win is excellent in our situation.
  17. There’s a danger that even Brighton struggle to hold onto him
  18. Yep it genuinely does level itself out a lot of the time.
  19. I think there’s a distinction between fair criticism and wanting the manager sacked. Like we can criticise him without wanting him immediately sacked.
  20. Imagine us winning a premier league game 3-2 after being 2 down and your first reaction is to come on here and want the manager sacked 🤣🤣🤣
  21. Well staying up this season will probably dictate the long term future of the club. So I will be very grateful if he keeps us up.
  22. We always used to laugh and cry about how jammy his forest team was, maybe he is an actual voodoo
  23. People still subtlety talk down Enzo despite what he’s doing at Chelsea, the evidence always was that he was a world class coach.
