I remember playing football against him and he was an awful footballer- like not even good enough to play at schools level standard(which he still might have). But it’s an amazing story and one I’m jealous of. I’ll have to stick to playing football manager.

I think it’s obvious that Marti was reluctant to start him because there is clearly an issue here. He did well against Sheff Wed and Huddersfield when he came on, then has had to start him today. He needs to go as soon as possible.

After scoring two goals in the championship Jeff Bruma got 25 caps for the Netherlands. I don’t think in the context of the championship he was average. Danny Ward did well in cup shoot outs vs others, including Wolves, so not really a surprise that he saved some vs league two opposition. Good idea for a thread though.
