Vestegaard is one of the most intelligent players we have. His awareness is outstanding, only have to see some of his passing and his last ditch tackling. I really enjoy watching him play. Of course if someone knocks it past him, then he’s not going to win a race.

My issue with loaning Souttar out was not then having a fifth centre back in the squad. You had either Nelson or Souttar as fifth, I’d have sacrificed Souttar and loaned out Nelson(yes shame with what has happened). Arguably Souttar would have seen considerably more game time than was initially anticipated, with how this season has gone.
