Drinking in Southwold this week. Lord Nelson is the most pleasant pub but I don’t think any cask pint I’ve had, has been in perfect condition. Taking away nostalgia that Southwold is for me, maybe Adnams is very average.

Yes, went after the England Denmark game. It’s okay, the food was nice but maybe a bit pricey and it’s hardly a great experience inside. But that could just be my inexperienced interpretation, regarding Vietnamese food.

I think they’d also demand something in the region of 20million, money can be better spent in other areas. We do need central midfielders but I don’t think Skipp represents value for money.

Our first signing from Welwyn Garden City, wow.

5 miles around Southwold, down to the Harbour and back into town. Lovely weather too and lots of runners. -
Old City shirt - help with where it’s from
westernpark replied to LCFC BEAST's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nah, that shirt was worn between 2003-2005 I’m sure with alliance and Leicester, 125 Loros one was 2009-2010. -

Yes, definitely a youth shirt. Would have been worn during an academy game, possibly reserves but can’t remember whether they had alliance and Leicester, or walkers Like the academy. -

Most likely match worn but was a youth shirt. I believe Walkers sponsored Youth shirts during this period. -

Where will you be watching the final?
westernpark replied to samlcfc1's topic in General Football and Sport
I was quoted 35 pounds by Uber on Wednesday from town to near Western Park and nearly 45 pounds on Saturday. I should really be less lazy. -

Possibly in Southwold, so that’ll mean plaice and chips on the sofa, as I don’t think Adnams pubs show football. If not, at the real ale classroom basement in town, which has been a superb venue all tournament. -
If we don’t end up shifting a centre back after re-signing Vestegaard and signing Okoli, I’ll be very annoyed we don’t spend money on O’Riley.

Think he signed contract in 2020. So all he’d done was play a few games when Chilwell was unavailable. I certainly agree he didn’t benefit from Rodgers.

6 years for Luke Thomas still wasn’t as bad as 4 years for Matty James circa 2017/2018 time.

Because the club was actively trying to sell him throughout. He’s not to Vestegaard’s level of passing but then neither was KDH or Ndidi etc.

A notable moment that the Caribbean Carnival has been cancelled for 2024. -
Souttar was a ball playing defender. Very good passer.

Ashworth announced as new head of Labour thinktank. I hope he continues to live and base himself out of Leicester, we will need him.

Concerns about the direction of the club
westernpark replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ultimately I am more concerned about the club’s identity and heritage off the pitch, rather than on it. If we’re rubbish, we’re rubbish and I’ll still go along every week as it is Leicester City. But the changes to the club, the worshipping of a business that owns the club, are putting me off. I mitigate some of these issues, with the notion that Leicester City would never be the same club that I started supporting as a 7 year old in 2002 because of the success we’ve had, and the general globalisation of the sport during this time. I want to continue actively supporting a Leicester based club and have decided to get a Tigers season ticket for this upcoming season. I have hated Leicester Tigers in the past, the fan base demographic is not representative of this city and supporters are more likely to be found in rural Norfolk, than Saffron Lane. However, I’ve decided to give it a go, simply because the team has Leicester in the name and is seemingly grateful for my 400 quid. Apart from joining a fans group, unfortunately I have no motivation in helping to pressure this football club at the moment. Football is broken and I think I need a break from really caring at the moment(I will keep my season ticket for the upcoming season, hypocritical yes). Kudos and respect to all those who are doing so at the moment. -

Not horrific but not sure how well a striker does in that Millwall side. -

Any idea of the fee range? I know it’s listed as undisclosed but hopefully you’ve received at least a decent 6figure sum. -

Presume he’s not with the squad today as the school holidays haven’t begun yet. -
