There's been quite the uptick in form since moving from Pezzolano (who I thought was harshly sacked) to Gracia. Makes you wonder if it was whether the team were underperforming for Pezzolano or whether Gracia has now got them playing out their skins. Truth probably somewhere in the middle. I think Watford will get playoffs this year.

You lot seem to be on quite the roll. Extended new manager bounce or is it sustainable?

Oliver Skipp Confirmed
Arriba Los Zorros replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ah, bless him, he does seem super shy. You can imagine he gets eaten alive in the changing room. He has ability, really hope he goes from strength to strength here. -
Oliver Skipp Confirmed

Build the team around Ollie! I like the Skipp - James partnership in midfield -

Pearson is quite clearly the greatest Leicester manager of all time and it's not even close. Would have him back in a heartbeat if he was up for it, even under the current ownership.

So glad somebody said this. Revisionism running rampant on here, most were glad to see the back of him. He's not even setting the world alight at Chelsea, they can look good on their day but still extremely inconsistent.

I still think he's shit (as is Kasey Mcateer to the above poster - Ipswich's problem now) -
Sorry @spacemunky but Brackley being my local team, I'm absolutely delighted!!!

Brendan Rodgers Resigns from Celtic
Arriba Los Zorros replied to Clever Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
It does appear he has had a MO to manipulate the situation at clubs to constantly be positioned as the man to take credit for successes and then the victim of others failings bravely fighting against adversity when things go wrong. As the Celtic owner said, self preservation comes first with BR clearly not a team player and a man that can be trusted. No sympathy with him after how he treated LCFC -
How are villa losing to a team named after a healthy snack bar?

He's always been shit and always will be - man just cannot do the basics of professional football

Who was our worst manager and why?
Arriba Los Zorros replied to ramboacdc's topic in Leicester City Forum
Personal dislike would be Rodgers Results wise would be Ruud General vibes would be Gary ****ing Megson or Ian Holloway. -
Anyone criticising Ipswich, you should see the Derby time wasting before judging the extra time added on, it was Italian levels and frankly I'm glad they got done Because of it in the end. Plus the ref denied them an absolute stonewalled and Derby scored with 2 long ball punts. Victory for football that Ipswich equalised, a shocking result for them regardless!

Getting desperate and scattergun with first and second choice transfers not coming off I'd say, puts a lot of pressure on them to go up this year and not convinced they will. Wheels coming off!

Norwich's Marcelino Nunez to Ipswich for 10 mil. They seem to be paying big fees for average players, Kasey a case in point.

Oliver Skipp Confirmed
Arriba Los Zorros replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in Leicester City Forum
This isn't fair, he is not putting in 100% at the moment but it doesn't mean he's not talented, he has England caps FFS. He has strengths and weaknesses as do most players. -

The best thing is for Marti to do his job, placate Harry and get him playing. If an offer comes in then take it and replace him but assuming it doesn't we need him playing and putting in a shift for the rest of the season or January at least.
