A hearty rendition of "Potter, he's on the dole, Potter Potter, he's on the dole" followed by "You're just a workshy B****rd, you're just a workshy B*****d" please

I can see a 1-1, us coming out of the traps enthusiastically, taking the lead, conceding a late soft equaliser and being happy clapped and back patted for being so so unlucky. However a point and some positive signs of directional change is something I'd settle for right now.

There seems to be a common thread in these team selection arguments. Were obliged to field 11 players (not by the laws of the game but it's the general etiquette to do so) but no one can find 11 they rate . I do see the arguments though, playing with ten men the 11th guy, the one you've left out doesn't make an awful back pass, play people onside, run into danger or ball juggle on the edge of the box, it would be one less liability vs the demands of being one man down, it's a dilemma. I would be all for leaving players out for a lack of effort such as Tielemans and Soumare in 22-23 but if people aren't having Faes, Vestergaard, Coady, Wilf or Choudhury where do we go, Okoli and Justin at CB, sorry he's on the out list too, Okoli and Filbert or a brave new 1 CB formation? Hopefully be brave enough to pick Buonanotte, Bilal and Mavididi behind a CF, probably Vardy. In midfield Wilf and Skipp until Winks is fit. I'd then go Choudhury, Okoli, Vestergaard, VK, possibly the weakest defence in our PL history but a couple of the bomb scares removed.

Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official

The other day I was looking at the options we have up front beyond Vardy, bearing in my mind Ayew can come on and play centrally sometimes, Daka's season hasn't really started for him yet, Cannon's away on loan......I genuinely forgot we had Edouard, that's the impact he's had. So far...... -
"Oh I love your English TV. There was thish guy Rod Hull, he went like thish and Parkinshon he fell over the shofa, it was sho funny guysh." "Boss what about our defensive formation though, what do you want us to do?" "And I should have shaid, there was an Emu on his arm, sho funny" "You want us to peck and wrestle with West Ham? Is that the plan boss?"

I can count at least 7 games potentially more interesting than Arsenal v Man U and Villa v West Ham. Please broadcasters take note. A real mixed draw, a lot of boring ones but several great days for minnows, slightly better than some years.

I predict an upset , I predict an upset, c’mon Harrogate!

Didn't Enzo say he wanted a meeting to suggest re-structuring behind the scenes, shortly before he left? His opinion seemed to be that we weren't (aren't) properly set up to compete in the Premier League without it happening or that we'd at least have a better chance and better future. I'm sure I didn't dream this but it seems to have been swept under the carpet and Cooper was hardly in a strong enough position to make similar requests or suggestions.

You’re right, it will be different and some will benefit and come to the fore. The cliche of a fresh start or “new eyes” seeing something crapper, sorry Cooper, couldn’t. If we’re lacking leaders then Coady may be required, if we lack creativity then why continue to leave creative players on the bench, particularly with Fatawu missing.

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!

Anyone know where I can get a tattoo removed ? -
Before Leicestershire runs out of persil due to bed wetting epidemic consider:- A) We have a big match tomorrow, that's the focus for the next 24 hours. Long term future is crucial yes but why divert focus and concentration. B) The people in place to manage and coach us tomorrow may have no future here, which may be made obvious by the list of appointments, they don't really want removing before tomorrow, it would leave Filbert & Birch to pick the....actually that sounds better than Cooper C) The new coaches coming in are real people. They need to have their appointments negotiated, agreed, discussed with family, pack some pants and toothpaste etc. D) Fazzyfox.com needs more time to order stocks of Dutch Orange facepaint and balloons to flog in the Kings Head E) It has been daytime. If you were showing someone the City Centre for the first time you'd wait til it's dark, looks so much better / less crap. F) Top, Rudders and Whelan are loving the banter on this thread and want it to continue.

We're signing Bruno Fernandes too?
-
Keen to see what he makes of Alves, a case of fresh eyes on him, we’re a flair player down (2 when we play Brighton) and a busy schedule coming up. A lot to ask but we could do with a wild card, another option. Maybe, just maybe, Ruud can bring some composure to Daka’s finishing. What will his view on Vestergaard be, what will the CB pecking order be? Will he continue the use of Wilf as an AM winning the ball higher or will he prefer players who are capable of shooting on target. Will he be more pro-active in affecting the game with his substitutions, give the opposition something new to think about and fresh legs to contain? All of this and more to be revealed……

Brentford (A) Saturday 3pm PreMatch Chitchat
fazzyfox replied to Aus Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
We’re continental now, 11 technically gifted players comfortable in all positions, shouldn’t take more than 2 days to get to that level of cohesion -
An interesting out of work candidate has rocked up at Seagrave, says he has been studying the styles and image of Pep and promises an exciting modern fluent style of football whilst looking cool and suave (but still utilising Bobby Decordova Reid)

Re why would Top mention it will be a manager who is unattached - Maybe one of them queried whether doing this (recruiting) would tip us over into ffp problems and points deductions? Or just "Can we afford to be doing this" or "I thought we didn't have any money to spend"?
