For me, no manager is achieving top half with this squad, but it is good enough to avoid relegation.

Ricardo for Justin and I'd be happy with that. -
Good - less wank kick off times.

Cosby impassible this morning. Seen images/video of flooding under the motorway bridge in Narborough, a few houses and cars looked to have been in trouble. The train station was underwater too. My heart goes out to anybody who's home or business has been damaged.

One of the best I've seen facing penalties. This isn't the first time he's done this in the cup. It's a shame he's shit in every other aspect of being a goalkeeper.

This signing was as utterly shite as we all knew it would be the moment it was announced. Christ our recruitment is horrendous nowadays. -
Danny Ward is pretty good at penalties 🫡

It's too early. Yes, there's been some odd decisions, not least the benching of Ricardo, but we're not even in the bottom 3.
-
Absolutely nailed on defeat. I'd take a 1 goal defeat if offered it now. Just keep the goal difference tally respectable and try and keep any scrap of optimism in the squad.

Atmosphere today was so desperately poor. L/K is pretty much entirely dead now. It's been deteriorating for a decade or so but today was amongst the worst I've ever seen it. The drummer was flogging a dead horse trying to get something going but to no avail. UFS too small to be heard by the time you get half a stand away from them. Sad times.

Am I allowed to write this guy off yet? 👀

I dare say if we'd just 'let it rip' the economy would be doing better, inflation wouldn't have ran so rampant, and there wouldn't be so many kids starting primary schools in nappies or unable to properly communicate. There'd also be a lot more people mourning the loss of their elderly friends and relatives.

Can't get behind the "they kill other spiders and insects" argument. I mean, keeping a grizzly bear in my garden would stop cats from shitting there but the cure is worse than the disease.
-
I remember when Jamie Vardy was having a bad time of things here, he was brought on late on in a game at the KP and gave away a poor penalty that cost us. I can't remember the details. Obviously not saying Coady is going to kick on and be a great player (or even an average player) for us but the overreaction in here is predictably OTT.
-
You can't blame Cooper for that brain-dead tackle, you can't legislate for that.
-
Menorca was bloody lovely.

I might be misremembering but I'm sure that the ire amongst the fans had been building for a while with Ricardo with him flapping at crosses and always going to punch (even when a catch looked the safer and easier option). I'm sure I remember that shite "Weee-ull" song going around the KP after one particular Ricardo blunder, I know fans can be harsh and unfair at times but that wouldn't have happened on a player's first mistake. Either way, what a breath of fresh air Kasper was when he came in. Still, I wash right behind him at Doncaster away when he inexplicably threw the ball into his own net, I'll never forget that one 😓
-
Don't know how this thread became a general discussion on last GKs but Ricardo was genuinely dreadful. From memory, he was the worst keeper I've ever seen at claiming crosses. I was on of those fans singing Weale's name in whatever game it was he made another dreadful blunder. Weale was only OK, he definitely got worse the longer he was with us.
-
Not a bad draw for us. The big boys all avoiding each other and being at Home stinks though.
-
His stats are pretty shite on first glance. That is goals and assists, not looked any deeper than that. Still, can't help but feel optimistic about this one.
-
£10m for Chiesa is incredibly good value regardless of his wage demands. He's still only 26. We spent more on Okoli, and more than double this on Skipp! Hell, we spent about half that on 33 year old Jordan Ayew FFS.
-
Shout out to folks finishing work checking FoxesTalk for updates just to be greeted with a load of shit alliterative puns 😂
-
Is that Winks and Ayew using up their goal totals for the season tonight then?
-
He signed Kasper and Nuge. He also signed Beckford and Mills. I think that sums up the extremes we experienced under his tenure. I remember periods of great optimism but also some turgid runs of form too.
-
If this frees up some funds for more signings I'm all for it. However there's no point selling for the sake of it. Coady is perpetually injured and Okoli looks like a competition winner.
