House comes on the market yesterday, I book in for a viewing on Monday as I am away. Get a phone call this morning saying they are cancelling my viewing as the house is now sold. Just can’t get any luck at the minute.

Bid on 2 houses in the last few weeks and both were rejected due to higher bids. The house market is crazy with people willing to pay so much over the asking prices. Off to see another property tonight for a second viewing but not getting my hopes up at all.

Off to Belfast on Wednesday with my dad. Am I correct in saying we can fly there with no COVID checks or forms etc. as it's classed as the UK? We are flying from EMA.

I’m having the same thoughts. Although I can afford a decent house it would put me right on the edge of my limit. Plus I am getting fed up of looking everyday and not finding what I want.

Has anyone been to Iceland? Looking at going early next year and wondering how many days to go for and what there is to do aside from the obvious, i.e. northern lights, blue lagoon, etc.

We should be going into this game with a lot of confidence. Get into them from kick off and a couple of early goals.

Put an offer in on a house and it was rejected, which as frustrating as it is I get it. However, the EA says it was because another offer was higher and they are in a better position than me. I am not in a chain and have money in the bank, can someone on here explain how there is a better position than me? Also, my previous experience of EA is that you can make a second offer and increase it but I they didn't allow me to do this and just said they vendor has made their decision and I need to accept it. Personally I thought this was very rude.
