I concur that this style of play (with these players) will lead to issues in the premier league - if we get there However I think Enzo is fully aware that need to improve the playing squad in order to compete. To play this way, we would need 4 or 5 new starters imo

I could see him being utilised as an option at LB/LCB. we need two in that position and I’m not sure on Doyle I wonder if VKs reluctance in the summer was due to the league we are in

Disappointed to drop 2 points late on, especially as we had the chance to put it to bed by the time they got back into it. Hopefully when Fatawu, Ndidi, Daka, Iheanacho and hopefully Sensi (plus 1 more) are available we’ll have more depth to help us see these games out. He didn’t trust the bench last night

Would be a great piece of business if we could get it done. Imagine he’s on a decent wage too as signed when we were desperate. Hopefully this comes off with Ward and either Praet, Soumare or both not far behind.

He’s got a decent left peg and has had some decent performances but feel as though he hasn’t progressed as we would like due to a lack of physicality. He could do with a year in the gym whilst learning Enzoball.

As well as Vesty has done this year I wouldn’t be comfortable with him in the Prem if we got promoted. Lack of pace is a problem but his lack of physicality is just as worrying. He would get bullied. Happy with Faes but I’d want a sturdier CB/LB alongside. He’s also on a wedge and I’d imagine our owners have had their fingers burnt so can’t envisage us paying that sort of money to squad players again.

There has to be some rotation here, I appreciate we have a bit of a break either side but some players have had a very heavy workload in the last month or so. I would go with Hermansen Choudhury Faes Coady Doyle Winks Casadei KDH Akgun Vardy Mcateer If Vardy and Mcateer don’t make it go with Wanya and Cannon. Get Winks and KDH off on the hour mark

I’d go for this except Kel for Daka. I’d prefer Patsons pace on the break Boxing Day and would be chance to give Kel some minutes. Praet, Akgun, Cannon, Faes and hopefully Doyle from the bench

I can only assume we’re confident Daka and Kel will stay till end of the season and Vardy/Cannon will be enough whilst they’re away. Mavididi started as a striker and Mcateer filled in there briefly earlier this season. maybe not a huge priority in Jan but should be in the summer - whether we go up or not

I’d go with Ricardo for JJ and move Hamza over to LB. Would keep the rest of the team the same and hope we can play the 2nd half in 2nd gear again with the opportunity to rest some.

If we can sell Kel and Daka I’d be ok with it as long as we bring in a quality 9 who can play a part next season if promoted. I would say it’s our weakest area of the pitch at the moment

I would agree that they are decent goalkeepers for this level. I just think that in the event of promotion we would really suffer if any had to play for a prolonged period of time. I would like to think that we could find an upgrade to them that could come in and push Mads and fill in if required.

If Hermansen picked up an injury similar to Pope for example I would want a more established number 2 as cover

In January I’d be over the moon with a left footed defender who can play LB and CB (that Brazilian ba5tard would be ideal) and creative 8 and left winger (jack Clarke would be the dream with Chair if not) then in the summer we would need a GK, CB, 2 x CM, winger and striker (assuming we go up)
