I’ve been a fan since the 4-1 Musa Masterclass in the league cup when playing for Sheffield Utd. Perfect for us.
-
Yeah, Charlie. Decent player
-
I’d definitely take him. Vardy, Edouard, Iheanacho and Perez are great options.
-
I’m not too fussed if he goes as long as we get some decent money for him. If he does go I will miss watching him run the ball out of play under no pressure at least three time’s a game. I like the look of Thomas and would much prefer us bring in a stopgap signing so not to stunt his development. I’ll get shot down for this but could see us doing a lot worse than Rose/Bertrand/Taylor to see us through a couple of years before Thomas is ready. Unless a serious upgrade is available for decent money with sell on value. Alternatively I’d be happy with JJ playing there as long as a backup RB is brought in. If the Chilwell money is what we have to play with i’d rather us spend it on some wingers.
-
Dunk would be my first choice. Other than him the only realistic Premier League options for me are Mee, Lascelles and Smalling.
-
I’d take both for definite. wonder if we can palm off the likes of slimani, ghezzal etc to them in part exchange
-
The fact is we’ve improved under him having hardly spent anything. If we are to join the elite it will take time. The infrastructure is there and the new training facilities will only improve us further. We do have an exciting young squad which with a few additions will make us challengers for the top 4/6 next season Nothing wrong with him managing expectations as the last thing a young squad needs is the feeling that they’ve already made it

Definitely need two wingers to go straight into the 1st team. Perez is a lot better centrally and Barnes/Gray/Albrighton are not enough of a threat to concern the opposition. If we had two genuine threats either side of Vardy it would create more space and therefore opportunities. Dream signings would be someone like Sarr, Zara, Grealish, Cantwell etc but will depend on our finances. Other than that we need at least one more CB and fullback positions will depend on if Chilwell stays or not. Need a new CM as outside of Ndidi and Tielemans we’re weak. Need someone who can win the ball and then pick a pass. Wilf is a great tackler and carrier of the ball just plays side wards too much. Another striker and we’re good to go.

How much £££ for BR in transfer window.

Every club is going to be in same boat. there will be some wheeling and dealing being done for sure. Will definitely be a good chance to buy at good value from relegated teams and EFL clubs. Brooks/Wilson at Bournemouth, Cantwell/Lewis at Norwich and Sarr/Deeney/Hughes would all improve our squad -
Having watched them tonight and Sunday I think I’d go back to a back 4. Stick Choudhury in there with Ndidi and press Fernandes (who looks knackered) and Pogba. Play Tielemans, Perez and Barnes off Vardy and attack at pace when we have the chance. they are there for the taking
-
Regarding the target man debate, I personally would make sure that the next centre back we buy is massive and throw him forward for last 5 if we need to. Dont think Evans or Soyuncu would create much panic but a 6”4/6”5 unit would do the trick especially if we ping some diagonals to the back stick
-
I don’t know if BR has too much faith in our first 11 after our great start to the season or not enough faith in the rest of the squad but I think we are now paying the price for a lack of depth. Whilst I don’t agree with making wholesale changes every week I think it would have helped us now if a few of our players had played less games. It’s also massively beneficial to have game changers on the bench. Lastly, if there is no competition for places the players are bound to get complacent. The vast majority of our team know they will play the next game if they play well or not.

Kasper JJ Cags Evans Fuchs Ndidi Praet Albrighton Perez Barnes Iheanacho
-
We need another Ndidi as when he was injured we had no alternative and suffered massively. As for the others I did say “or players of similar quality”
-
Our squad is just not strong enough. Having to play our strongest 11 every week first half of the season took it out of them. goes to show now that with 5 subs we haven’t got a single player who can come on and change the game. Big work needed in the summer. Flog chilwell for as much as possible and bring in Tierney, Lallana, Edouard, Demiral, Benrahma and William Carvalho ( or players of similar quality)
-
That Hernandez looked great, I’ve not seen much of him but if that’s his usual standard he’s worth a look! A lot of talented players at Norwich, if they go down I’d certainly be looking to shop there pre-season
-
VAR is bollocks. Ref was shite. Biggest problem was our inability to improve the squad in January. Whilst he may be one of our league winning heroes Marc Albrighton is not the answer when you’re desperate for a goal.

Must win. -
I have faith in Gray and Barnes but at the moment they are better suited to impact sub role. i think we’re better with Perez in the team so just need a starter for the left wing
-
There is a lot to admire about this Liverpool team. Their energy, pace, how clinical they are and the way they work the ball. what isn’t often spoken about is their aggression and tactical fouling. When the opposition have the ball they either press and win it or foul to break play up. Stops teams getting into a rhythm. they are all physically very strong and seem to win every 50/50. as unsporting as it sounds I think the only way to stop them is to kick them out the game and hope for a meltdown

Regarding wingers we need someone who is going to make an immediate impact rather than one for the future. i like the look of Trossard at Brighton who could be worth pursuing in the summer. Other than him we should be looking at players of the quality of Zaha, Felipe Anderson, Shakiri & Richarlison. whilst he looks a bit of a ****, Grealish could be a good shout too. if we maintain current form and finish in top 4 no reason why those sorts of players wouldn’t come to us
