Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
Lcfcbisto replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
The fans got together and showed the country/world what it thought about the European super league, could we not take this as a chance to do the same. If every fan showed their individual club how they felt with protests and petitions they would have to listen. i have no idea how to make that happen but would support anyone who could in anyway I could. could fan groups get together? -
Agreed people go for different reasons, The money in football is lead by tv rights for the most part, the viewing figures are not high because of 5min checks of a 5mm offside. They exist due to peoples love of football. I genuinely think VAR will kill the love for the game, people can’t get that spontaneous buzz and kids won’t fall in love with the game like we all did.
-
We are all football fans which is why we are on this site. The reason we fell in love with football is not seeing the FT results on a sat night. it’s the spontaneous moments throughout the game and that moment when we score and the pure pleasure which makes you act like you would never act for any other reason in life, nothing else matters in that moment. VAR takes that away from us, once you have been in a stadium and celebrated and it’s been taken away you can’t ever celebrate the same again. You feel like you have to wait even for the most clear cut goals. At that moment football has gone.

My Sons first game today and he was lucky enough to be picked out to meet Filbert and receive the goodie bag. Helped to make a great day even better. Great day, great memory’s made and a great club.

My brother in law does this all the time. He always says not the brightest tool in the box. and making a molehill out of a mountain.

This 100% he did the hard work that goes unnoticed a lot, he was chasing whilst they knocked it around in triangles around him, knowing he would not get the ball but putting the pressure on. He was tired and deserved to be tired with the work he put in

3 delivered today. All fine. Sounds like I’m the only one -
Standard grout is fine on porcelain. There are some epoxy resin grouts out there for water proof and high traffic areas. Great products but I doubt they have used that.
-
Porcelain tiles especially if smooth should be pretty easy to clean off, the chances are they were not cleaned off properly after grouting. You can pick up grout remover from various places, they all sound magical but depending how bad it is they may back a few goes to get it off properly. Places like tops tiles will sell you stuff but it’s probably no better than some cheaper options in screwfix or tool station. you can also try scraping the worst off but depending on the tile you would be better off using something plastic so you don’t damage the tile. as for the ceiling have you got any pics of boarding before skim. don't go starting again just yet. Depending on how the boards were fitted it could be a case of letting it settle and crack re taping the joints properly and re skimming. Another option is a product like fine form, you could clean out the cracks and fill with fine form and then sand it back smooth. This is possible in some areas but I would find the cause before going down this route as it could happen again. Feel free to send any pictures of the work to me I’d happily have a look.
-
So yes the boards should be staggered, like a brick bond. You still end up with straight lines but in the opposite direction to the joists which makes it more structurally sound, and stops cracking where there is movement in joists. It sounds like like they did not tape the joints (skrim tape) this is a big mistake and is very hard to solve after. Any plasterer would know this and should be held accountable. the tile problem shouldn’t be to hard to solve, depending on the tile. If it’s a natural product and the grout has been smeared and not removed properly it can be really hard to get off. what tiles are they?

Rondon is a very good player, it was a couple of years ago against west brom watching him live against us, that I realised how good a player he is. Great work rate for a big guy and worked the defenders constantly, plus he can hold a ball up. Would have loved Lcfc to pick him up. -

Yes he is good and that’s great. But hamer was a decent keeper (not first choice at all) and also a massively loved part of the title winning squad by his team mates. Love the fact you forget we also signed jakupovic ahead of him. Why do you feel the need to slag people off. So he didn’t play a lot here, that makes all the scouts and coaches that got him to his first professional contract are crap, and all the clubs that have signed him and payed him good wages are stupid and don’t know what there doing. Or you don’t really know what your talking about, and thank god you don’t pick our side. You have fun on fifa 19, and have fun winning the champions league

You will get to see shearer talk about Newcastle and how there may be a new takeover bid, that should wasn’t enough time to completely forget Leicester we’re envolved ??
