I think we’ll know what we’re about after this game. We seriously need to get off to a good start and build momentum early. Main concern is mistakes playing out from the back. I don't trust Thomas, Okoli or Souttar to do it without f*cking it up, not even at league one level

At the end of the day, Page is ok. He's a tidy player with a good attitude. Who knows what kind of career he'll have though, I think it's too early to tell personally. Similar to J Monga, we've only really seen flashes and glimpses. Still sad if he goes because he's homegrown and you'd hope he'd be a main player for us this season. But if we're able to sell him for £10m and that allows us to bring in a CB who's more comfortable in possession and a striker, then I know what I'd probably do

Mavididi is ****ing useless at everything. Can't beat a man, can't cross, can't get a shot on target. He also seems to lack any acceleration to get away from defenders. I'm convinced that season under Enzo was a complete one off. I've seen better in the national league

Genuinely can't see this style working with our CBs and Luke Thomas, the passing out is atrocious.

No threat upfront and poor in possession, especially from the defence. Midfield was ok. But overall we made that far too difficult against a League Two side

Not every player over 30 is going to be another Jordan Ayew with a stinking attitude. We've got scars from the last two seasons but we have to put it to bed. We all want a young energetic squad, but we also need a few experienced pro's to set standards and help the younger lads. Burns fits that profile. Ipswich fans adore him by all accounts too
