Seems Largely down to the cost of sacking Puel and buying Rodgers and co out of Celtic early We’ve spent over £40 million on the Trianing ground but it’s not included in this years accounts. The New Floodlights cost £1.2 million!

Last Time Chelsea Beat us was in a FA Cup Quater final strangely enough

What’s gone Wrong (in 20 words or less)
MattFox replied to LinekersLugs's topic in Leicester City Forum
This is Pearson’s first full season back all over again. (2012/2013) Just in a different league with much better players. Squad of young players make fast start to the season playing great football, challenging at the top of the league. Good Football Dries up after Christmas with all few scrappy wins then the team hits a long slump but recovers right at the end of the season. Nigel corrected things by bringing in a few experienced heads in the summer and the rest is history. ( Didn’t See the 20 words or less !!) -
Everton have improved but they are still nothing special

We’ve had one Saturday 3pm game at Goodison since we were promoted

Liverpool Played Bournemouth on Grand National Day the other Year. Depends on how many police are needed for the match

Brendan got some of the boys from Northern Ireland to sort Sean out ?
-
Most of the empty seats are fickle season ticket holders that can’t be bothered to turn up tbf
-
All about the points at this end of the season now

Council have waved through a new Hotel on Granby halls car park, a new student village on the Uni’s Freeman Common Site and much closer to home a load of flats on the old Filbert street over the last couple of years. All of which have more of a detrimental day to day affect on the local area than a football stadium and potential arena which actually enhance the area. Not heard a pip out of the usual Mercury moaners on those weirdly enough

Birmingham Home (FA Cup) - Wed 4th March 7:45
MattFox replied to TheUltimateWinner's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Our Normal Away end is over 200 seats bigger than it needs to be anyway. (Only has to be 3000 max) All down to the way the ground is configured You’d imagine this is something the club looks at when/if they rebuild the east stand -
Birmingham FA Cup 5th Round - Weds 4th March

Birmingham need the cash probably... -
https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/leicester-news/double-yellow-line-plan-aylestone-3793801 “Long term plans to introduce a residents parking zone in the streets of Aylestone Road “ If we ever expand the ground they are going to need to do something big on transport given the council are seemingly hell bent on taking every free parking space away

Don’t disagree with a lot of this but at the end of the day if you can’t get up for a cup semi final that’s also a rivalry you might as well not bother. Coventry is the most dismal, dull , soul destroying , passionless place that I can think off but I’m fairly sure if they get through they’ll turn up with their 6 fingered mob and make a racket at the KP

We had to bribe our home fans with free stuff to stay for a 15 minute lap of honour at the end of last season. Large sections of the crowd just come for a day out and a catch up with their mates

Winning the league has really ruined our fanbase

Derby got 5 thousand for the replay the other year and that was midweek. We used to take big allocations to the Ricoh tbf as well although always weekend Better atmosphere with more away fans
-
Will still be a decent game/atmosphere if we get Birmingham tbf
-
They need to stop scoring now
-
They’ve always been loud but often not bought the full end Threads on here about it
-
Would Cov sell out the away end at the KP... They’ve always struggled to in the past 😂
-
How many clubs sell out third round cup ties against teams at the bottom of the championship??

Worth noting Leicester doesn’t have a single Tory MP or councillor and is statistically a poorer city than Liverpool
