Has he shown any interest in managing?
-
The problem is these players were clearly on their way down when we signed them. If we were bringing in players at their peak with a couple more years at that level then I think it would be fine. We should be looking at decent, out of contract Championship players and offering them a reasonable League 1 wage, but with significant promotion bonuses.

I would have thought that Wilson-Brown is ahead of Gray since he has League 2 experience. Although they are all accademy graduates, the majority do have league football experience. You could also include Opoku who has played in League 2, although he hasn't been overwhelming there.

Relegation, League 1, financial implications

If Seagrave is owned outright then can we not borrow against that asset, i.e. remortgage it? I know this is only kicking the can down the road and would depend on the current cashflow situation, but might be a short-term option. -
I love that idea, he can do to them what he has done to us, helped us into league 1.

How do we resolve the fan divide issue
Merchant_Banker replied to Jabbaranks's topic in Leicester City Forum
Bring in players who are willing to fight for the shirt. Sorts everyone except those miserable ****ers who just like to complain. -
I know how we can win, we play a new formation, 10-5-4, put the whole squad on the pitch, including 3 goalkeepers and we have a chance of scraping a 1 - 0.

The problem, as has been mentioned before, is that no one will pay these clowns the sort of wages that we are paying. This means that they will probably turn down a move away unless the club pays them a 'golden handshake' to make up the differenece, or close to it. I think it is more likely they will be loaned out with us paying a majority of their wages.

Looks like he was on a downward trend even before he got here.

What players will be here next season in Div 1
Merchant_Banker replied to StevieH's topic in Leicester City Forum
Okoli, Kristiansen and Mavididi won't want to stay here. Choudhury will have offers, maybe Sheffield United again. Skipp will be loaned out because we can't afford him and no one will be willing to pay what we need for a permanent deal. -
What I don't get is why we keep playing the ball to Okoli, everyone knows he can't pass or control the ball yet he seems to receive the ball more than any other of our players. I suspect Norwich are giving him space to receive the ball knowing he will make a mistake at some stage.

Watching Mukasa?

I'm giving myself a "Whoosh", I totally missed the point of your comment.

Divine Mukasa joins on loan - Official
Merchant_Banker replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
If this is true then the presence of Mukasa will be beneficial to him, a young player who is a little older, better than Monga and working hard to progress. -
Woods or Wood? The goalkeeper or the striker?

Middlesbrough (A) | Tue 24-Feb | 19:45 KO
Merchant_Banker replied to Foxes96's topic in Leicester City Forum
This is something I don't understand, all the reviews appear to suggest that he does well when he plays, but 3 managers have now left him on the bench. What are we missing? -
We need to get 2 more points than WBA and/or 3 more points than Blackburn over the next 14 games. That is doable and should be easy given the squad apart from the fact that the majority of players seem to have given up. If he can get them motivated to a small extent we could be safe.

I understand that he completed all the formalities this morning and was told he needed to do the socail media next. He said "**** that we have a match on Saturday, I need to get on the traning ground and sort out this shit." IKFA.
