I thought he was actually better at this in this game. He didn't try to beat his full back every time and sometimes played the easy pass.

I may be reading too much into a dodgy format pre-season game, but based on today I would start Monga or Alves ahead of Mavididi, Fatawua will have to bring his top game to start ahead of Marcal and Evans and I have no problem with Aluko and Wilson-Brown backing up Nelson and Okoli as our centre backs! ... and Daka should never appear in another LCFC squad.

A good mix of youth and experience would work better.

I think we need to promoted Jayden Joseph to the first team squad and play Ricardo in midfield, just so we have JJ and JJ fighting for the Right Back slot.

I don't think including Nelson and Alves in this argument works as they were out on loan. I would assume that the club thought a full season playing was better than fewer minutes with us. The problem for Monga this season is that he is compeeting with some of our better players, Mavididi and Fatawu on the wings and BEK at 10. I think all of the players you mention should get significant minutes this season and, if what is said about Cifuentes promoting youth is true, we should see plenty of all of them.

He's not going to get a PL club, but LCFC have a fair chance of being promoted.

I think he said somewhere that 10 was his preferred position, which is why I suggested it if BEK goes.

Alves and Monga?

I thought I saw a report saying it wasn't the release clause that caused a problem. Sounds like he spoke to the potential new owners of Sheffield Wednesday and thought they were a better bet than our lot.

I think I read somewhere that King had said that he wasn't ready for the Leicester job yet, but he wanted it at some stage in the future.

If he is earning less money this year than at QPR because we have agreed to repay the amount he has paid to QPR as a signing on fee of some sort. He will be on significant bonuses to get us promoted and will also get a significant rise in the PL.

If they perform in training I would expect Winks and, possibly, Skipp to start. Unless we get someone in, Daka is our only senior CF.

Might be worth suspending it. Any player who wears number 9 for us this seaason is going to be under a lot of pressure.
