  1. Didn't want to be here, that much was obvious at the weekend. Another case of club not matching the players ambition. It's getting to the point where we need 1 or 2 Championship sloggers in, ugh.
  2. We have great young talent already at the club, coming through the academy. We should be playing them as much as possible. They probably won't get us promoted but it'll drive their price up and show potential new players that there's a genuine pathway. It's trendy to be all doom and gloom at the minute, but we might be starting to see the fruits of our labour from Seagrave. They might not all be Jeremy Monga but if we can change some of these players we release on a free, to even £1m/£2m players then its a positive to build on.
  3. Hopefully he can smack that kind of attitude into some of the players who seem to be of the opinion that we, as fans, must be blindly positive in order for them to put in decent performances.
  4. We just desperately need anyone in that will not stand for players playing at 40-50% when they're on the pitch. A Granit Xhaka type.
  5. Oh. Nevermond then, it's just a training kit
  6. Yep, its alright. But I'm in the minority of thinking the leak looked nicer in the green and black with yellow badges (I know its obviously just a lighting issue) Without a sponsor its just a training top, hopefully the shorts are on the accent colour.
  7. There's nobody left in the squad who truly, truly cares if we win lose or draw. It's full of Chamionship standard players on Premier League wages with Premier League egos. Nobody capable of looking in the mirror and owning the fact it's their lack of ability that's landed us here. So, they're all just looking at the exit door and blaming the guy next to them. Leadership isn't the issue, we just need players that are desperate for us to win.
  8. I can't remember seeing a game pass so many players by, all in 1 go. Skipp McAteer Daka Thomas Soumare (did more than the others though) All may aswell not have turned up. Ayew comes on for a penalty and does that. I'll forgive the kids, but the above players are experienced. Players, fans, board, it just feels like nobody really wants to be here.
  9. Oh dear...
  10. Meh. Bigger fish to fry, nobody done themselves any favours if they think they're getting in the League side. Time for some signings.
  11. Movement off the ball finding space has been awful. Picking your head up to make a pass has been awful. Passing in general has been awful. Ref has been awful. Proper early round cup game this, great half so far.
  12. Thomas just has zero creativity. Just does the basic next action time and time again.
  13. Didn't see any replies to this, so just thought I'd let you know that he's probably just being rested, as it's a league cup game.
  14. A win is a win. But has there ever been a less satisfying 3 points than that?
  15. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  16. We brought Kasey and Daka on to even up the numbers?
  17. Nearly 3 minutes for those subs. Games got to change...
  18. Obscene amounts of wages paid to each and every one of them and the minimum you ask of them is that they at least LOOK like they give a shit for 2 hours a week. Fvck the lot of em.
  19. It was so painfully inevitable, all ****ing week...
  20. I've been saying all week that their starting 11 will be experienced in this league. We should still have enough, but we've got to do more than just step onto the pitch to get a result here.
  21. They have Bernard, Iorfa, Lowe, Palmer, Valery, an experienced back line. Coupled with Chalobah and Bannan ahead of them, it's not like we'll be up against a team with 20 first team apps between them. I still expect us to win, but potentially could be a frustrating watch.
  22. I can see it being 0-0 at half time with this place in full meltdown. Finishing 1-0 or 2-0, but a far less convincing performance than some are predicting.
  23. Spot on! I bet most of their remaining players will just be itching to get back on the pitch again. Tactically and physically, they might not be up to scratch. But I doubt we'll see any lack of effort, and need to be cautious. We've been stung more than once in fixtures like these.
  24. Wider perspective as fine after time. But I think the frustration is more focused to moments in this game. From the position we were in, in this game, it should have been seen out. We gave them a way back into it and gave away momentum. This is irrespective of the stature of the game within the country. We didn't walk away thinking "ah well" when we managed to lose to Spurs after being ahead after 93 minutes, just because they have a perceived higher stature in the game.
