  1. I would often frequent the Phoenix bar at Ally Pally when I lived in north London and have seen this more than a few times when the darts is on. Blokes being dragged out by bouncers each grabbing one limb. Once saw them just open the main doors and throw the guy out "a leg and a wing"-style. Good stuff.
  2. There's no chance he's going "Yeah, we don't rate him and we'll be sending him back" if nothing has been formally agreed. It's a stock answer.
  3. I actually think the performance was fine. Fine for a completely dogshit squad. When you lack quality you want to see a bit of effort and endeavour, that was there at least. Watching Justin again was rough. This dude looks finished. January is probably the biggest transfer window in our recent history.
  4. I though maybe JJ was going through some sort of crisis of confidence. I was willing to give him him the benefit of the doubt. Now I’m certain the dude looks finished.
  5. Unethical life tip: drop a Christmas acid tab to make the colours incredibly vibrant.
  6. I had a NES from about 1990, I loved it. Played it every day. By Christmas 1995 it had become outdated and I asked my folks for a Mega Drive since all my mates had one and I could swap with them. Christmas Day I open my “big present” to find something called a PlayStation which I’d never even heard of. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when I turned it on. I was the most arse-kissed bloke at school for about a year.
  7. One of my favourite artists. Waveshaper’s stuff is incredible.
  8. After Cooper was the gist I got. The journo that appeared on BSLB confirmed the club were talking shit when they put out the info that Moyes and Potter weren’t in the frame for the job.
  9. “But finding a defensively capable manager – David Moyes was and is available – or allowing Van Nistelrooy to bring in his own staff would have been the priority for a serious football club.” Judging by what Shearer said to guest David Moyes on TRIF live podcast episode the other day (which Moyes tellingly didn’t react to), it was insinuated that Moyes turned us down. The official line from the club that he and Potter weren’t in consideration was - and always is - bollocks.

  11. Can’t blame the manager really. His options are absolutely minging. The squad is dogshit. Glad the McAteer experiment is over.
  12. It’s gone. Someone has stopped paying their domain host.
  13. It was a shame, but I'm not sure it was particularly well run and was certainly overpriced for the time given the demographic it should've been targeting. It should've been rammo given its proximity to DMU and location on the thoroughfare to the Narb student population. Soar Point and The Polar Bear were always well supported.
  14. Brauny Gate has pretty much always been my preferred night spot, but it's always had its shit holes, lets be fair. Loved O-Bar and I had this weird dream that it became a launderette themed bar for a while. Mobius was never any good. Always thought the Music Cafe was a bit of a hidden spot - surprising to see it's still there given it never seemed that busy. Natterjacks is crap. What was Loaf is now grim n'all as is the place next door. Went earlier in the year. Didn't mind the Metal Monocle at all but then again I'm a proper greebo. Glad to see Nine is still there, shame Pi had to go. Oasis Lounge was decent - had a good selection of bottled beers and cocktails.
  15. For a long time I wondered where I’d seen the vicar from Corrie before. Saw it at the cinema when it came out and thought it was twisty fun at the time, haven’t seen it since.
  16. No chance. Most of the local news outlets are scared shitless of the club revoking access at the slightest bit of bad PR.
  17. I'm not sure the club are aware that when people call him the GOAT, it's an acronym rather than a reference to his ability to climb near vertical rock faces on all fours.
  18. "Mummy, the water out of my LCFC x JV9GOAT Metal Bottle tastes funny"
  19. It's here. https://shop.lcfc.com/en/collections/jv9
  20. Look, I love a pile on the club as much as the next FT div. But it’s small lurch in the right direction to creating a bit more atmosphere pre-match that hopefully translates to the stadium. Let’s wait to see how shit it is before we batter ‘em. Besides, it’s only a trial. By the time the permanent fan zone & stadium development is complete in 2050, they might’ve actually got it half-right.

If you play Career Mode there is absolutely zero reason to part with your money - especially for the annual reskin. The the last time they bothered to add any meaningful features was about ten years ago.
  22. Say what you want about our Danny but there's no denying this dude is a physical comedy genius. His dive about two seconds after Newcastle's third had already bulged the net *chef's kiss*
  23. Finally got around to watching Deadpool and Wolverine. Ridiculously meta, ending was pretty terrible, it's not as funny as the first two and the movie is a bit of a mess but it's the only superhero series that doesn't bore me to fvcking tears these days. I still had fun watching it, and that's all you can ask for I suppose.
