  1. Seems to be more middle-lane hoggers than ever before. I use the M1 from London to Herts 3 times a week, and it's fvcking endemic especially in the evenings. Empty sections of road and there they are just sat there gormlessly doing 65 in the middle lane. Most of them are too thick to realise people are making a point when there's a convoy of cars swerving from the inside lane to the outside lane as soon as they overtake them.
  2. I'm starting to worry he'll be going with the baby-shit green tracksuit look on match day. If he's binned the turtle-neck I'm going to boo him all match.
  3. Competitions are big revenue generators. Advertising spend is down every year across conventional media and broadcasters are starting to struggle so it's just diversifying. Competition > advert for Selco
  4. That research into the The Dunning-Kruger effect was inspired by a series of 1995 bank robberies by McArthur Wheeler and Clifton Earl Johnson who held up two Pittsburgh banks at gunpoint without attempts to disguise themselves. Instead, they had covered their faces in LEMON JUICE, believing it would make them invisible to security cameras.
  5. I've got absolutely no hope of getting anything out of this. RVN won't have any time to implement anything so I feel it'll be the same old shit. Maybe change the personnel and hope for a shithouse performance. We're absolutely miles off the required level. Our squad is chocka full of Champo level players.
  6. First time I've heard Lineker mention "problems above the manager's head" at the club, and "poor decisions at board level" on the TRIF podcast today. He would've heard things. It goes without saying really for fans, but it feels like there's more media acknowledgement generally of how badly the club is being run.
  7. Thomas definitely ain’t the answer, and I’m not even sure what the question is. If he’s marking Mbeumo today.
  8. FFS someone beat me to it.
  9. Um, guys I just enhanced that teaser.
  10. FT users when Ruud is finally announced:
  11. Paraphrasing, but: - Surprised by the appointment - PSV scored lots but were defensively ponging, could barely keep a clean sheet - Games were too open - Struggled to adapt in Europe - Good at developing players but could be found lacking tactically He ultimately said he “couldn’t fully endorse” the appointment. Sounded like he thinks RVN would struggle in the Premier League, especially defensively.
  12. Anyone listened to the RL podcast? Their “Dutch football expert” didn’t sound very convinced by this AT ALL.
  13. Our new sponsor is "Cocks"?
  14. The Perspective FC sections of the fanbase are apathetic and generally happy for the club to just exist. Thankfully some actually want to push the club to meet the benchmarks for success that it has set for itself. Besides, to be considered from the outside to be entitled, that tends to mean you've had some success. That's fine with me.
  15. Wait, who are we on now?
  16. 'Kin 'ell it's going to be Carsley isn't it?
  17. Imagine if the club had any business acumen or a grasp of how quickly supporters will part with their cash if actually supplied with something they demand. Instead we get Thai biscuits and our worst ever kit. An absolute monstrosity.
  18. Wouldn't expect you to pipe up to defend a pair of amoral grifters. It isn't illegal, therefore it must be just. "Negotiated a salary." She attempted to pay herself £150k per year (double the normal pay for a CEO in a charity’s first year) but the Charities Commission stepped in to block it this given that this was over 13% of the charity's total income for their first accounting period. This doesn't stink at all. They applied for planning permission via the charity (without telling the trustees BTW) for something called "The Captain Tom Foundation Building". You'd think perhaps it would be somewhere to host charity events or workshops for the vulnerable? Nah, Captain Tom LOVED spas. There's nothing he would've wanted more than his family to enjoy their daily swim in their Captain Tom branded beachwear range. "Leverage the family name" is a very kind way of saying "flagrantly using a charitable cause to cash in commercial and personal ventures with a very thin veneer of philanthropy" Illegal? No. Immoral and incompetent. Absolutely. Expecting one of these two to turn up as my local Tory candidate. Let's all raise a glass of Captain Tom's Gin to the old man who wasn't the only one led down the garden path. He must be spinning in his grave, and they're probably looking for a way to monetise it.
  19. Aquafresh toothpaste.
  20. Corberan > Rutgerus
  21. I wish people would stop lying on Twitter.
  22. For anyone who's been out of the loop for a day, here's an update: David Moyes Graham Potter Ruud Van Nistelrooy <------ YOU ARE HERE Jesse Marsch Tony Pulis Gerry Francis The Wealdstone Raider That PE Teacher at secondary school who's now on a register Chat GPT Wayne Rooney
  23. Rudkin was with Top at the Christmas market in town last night. Top insisted on mustard and onions on their shared Bratwurst-in-a-bun, whereas I know for a fact Rudkin likes his plain. Also Top ate around 65-70% of the sausage snack leaving Rudkin with the slightly messy, falling apart bit at the end AND Top took the napkin leaving Jon to scramble around for hand sanitiser. Seems like there's definitely a shift in dynamics at play.
  24. A senior member of the Foxes Trust out of touch and completely at odds with the opinions of the larger fanbase?
  25. Ok everybody, lets all sing it together and clap along... In 3... 2... 1... The betting markets mean fvck all
