  1. See you all over in forum support in the next "why are the threads being locked" thread.
  2. My face watching us play from the back, the lads stringing 40 passes together - with all eleven of them touching it - before slotting it home.
  3. IDK. It's not my house, it's his. We're all just stood around in the kitchen, drunk and talking shite. I liked the politics thread but it never lasts.
  4. In fairness, Mark has said multiple times "no politics."
  5. Club legend. Weird guy.
  6. True or false: Harry Winks?
  7. Fatawu started that but couldn’t finish it. Got battered there.
  8. Streams are a fvcking nightmare. Constantly shit websites. Can anyone DM me one too?
  9. Once again proving its anti-establishment credentials, GB News has now hired Old Etonian former Bullingdon Club member and prime minister Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson to join the other four sitting MPs they have as hosts.
  10. They've been parrotting the same shit forever. They will continue to do so. The constitution is no longer fit for purpose yet is treated as religious doctrine. The result of unbridled individualism, and a culture of terror and fear.
  11. When 20 kids were killed at Sandy Hook and nothing changed, that's when the world realised nothing ever will and you just wait for the next massacre. It's a domestic war economy. The arms industry floods the US with all manner of lethal weapons, pays out millions to mostly Republican politicians, and in the case of the NRA, has sponsored an amendment banning. In return, Republican Party accelerates gun culture, using violence as a form of political opportunism. Violence is deeply ingrained in American culture. The market-driven values of “freedom” and notion that individual liberty is synonymous with unfettered gun rights. That's captitalism, folks.
  12. Waiting for the ‘No Way To Prevent This,’ Says Only Nation Where This Regularly Happens article.
  13. Starting to get that "new guitar" itch again. I don't know why because I'm shit and I don't play half as much as I used to. I think I prefer guitars to actually playing guitars. I've never owned a Gibson. Or a t-style guitar. I'd love either. Been pining over something with a P-90 in it like a Les Paul Jr, or double-cut, but they're so fvcking expensive. Was it you @Dr Marco who posted about owning a melody maker? What's it like?
  14. There's 35,000 people inside the stadium, many of which would have trouble following the most basic of instructions. I think it went pretty well considering.
  15. It's a banger IMO. Back to form after a-few-gems-but-too-much-filler "Trilogy," and the downright dogshit "Father of All..." Be very excited to hear the full release, and they'll be in the UK touring it. Although that is a pretty questionable cover art. Fans will try to find some symbolism, but I'd guarantee it was chosen because it's a striking image with no consideration of the context. People in NI might find it problematic.
  16. At a glance, "Larne" looks like "Lame" and I thought to myself why are we being so rude about Dylan?
  17. This is a lot of the game, unfortunately. Lots of "this could've been sorted with an email" quests.
  18. Proper redemption arc this. Good on him.
  19. YouTube reaction face thumbnails are basically the worst thing about the internet. Fvcking state of it.
  20. If only he'd fvcked off back to Celtic a year earlier he'd have many more MoM awards, and we'd still be in the Premier League.
  21. The whole game is last years' with new menus. They update the rosters, and I thought they did the kits too but apparently not. The whole series has barely advanced in half a decade. Fvcking incredible that they ask full price for this shit and people still pay it. Early physical sales figures don't bode well. Obvs. that's a market trend and remains to be seen what's happened digitally, but I'm absolutely here for this IP tanking. EA deserve it. Prime example of why market competition is important for consumers.
  22. They modelled one crashed starship POI. ONE. Then put it absolutely everywhere.
  23. Gives creedence to the theory that lots of features in this game were nerfed late on in the development cycle for whatever reason - that's why there these weird half-baked vestigial systems that don't really do anything, like fuel consumption, outposts and atmospheric effects. Todd Howard has already said that the atmosphere systems were a lot more unforgiving. It's thought that it was much more of a survival game originally - extreme planets forced the use of outposts and different suits / buffs to negate them (hence now we have status and planetary effects that do nothing) Maybe you had to place outposts and mine helium-3 to get further across the starmap (there's a thing about this on the loading screen messages) meaning much slower progress - then got rid because
  24. So I'm approaching level 55, and decide to head on a little adventure to the right side of the starmap now that I'm a high enough level with a ship that obliterates pretty much anything.
