Can you ask your Man Utd supporting work colleague for next week's lottery numbers? No, I thought not. Ward was terrible, but so was the defence in front of him. In my opinion Iversen really wasn't the answer. He had no idea with ball at his feet. And I don't recall the stats improved when Iversen was actually starting? Not to say leaving Ward as our first choice keeper was a good idea, but picking on Ward when our entire defensive line was shite is a little revisionist.

I wouldn't put Ward ahead of Oversen. They're both shite. For different reasons.

Those saying Iversen was better than Ward don't seem to recall the 2022-23 season. When he replaced Ward he may have shown a little more confidence (not difficult) but was absolutely dreadful with the ball at his feet. And I recall him conceding a bad free kick goal, may have been Everton at home? Ward had his confidence issues, but either of them behind the shocking defence we had in 22-23 was a car crash. I'm much happier with Stolarczyk 👍🏼
