  1. FVCK OFF COOPER! JUST FVCK OFF!
  2. This is only going to go one way. Late equaliser! It's not even in doubt.
  3. IF there IS truth in this and we lose our next two games.... You would think that Top would be starting to think about making a change.
  4. "My knee, my knee" *an hour later runs in an 80yrd receiving TD* Joking aside, this is what happens when egos collide. 2 bellends acting like bellends but the bellend with power needs to be held to a higher standard.
  5. I'll wait to see the bodycam on just how much he was "cooperating." I mean, yeah! US police don't have a great track record but Tyreek Hill has pretty much proven at every turn that he is utter trash as a human being so let's wait to see what really happened.
  6. It's quite amusing as a Scotsman watching the reactions in here... Players played in their strongest positions, playing good football, winning... you lot don't know what to do with yourselves, do ya? The urge to find something to moan about is reducing some to criticising players for not celebrating enough!
  7. I know he's a free agent. That's why I said cheap.
  8. I don't believe the source for a second but he's someone I've been mentioning periodically all summer as a good, cheap option.
  9. He's supposed to be the real deal so there is absolutely no point in getting excited. One of the big boys will come and snap him up for peanuts before he gets anywhere near the first team.
  10. If we are going for any 30+ year old free agent with a questionable injury history, I'd rather Kurzawa.
  11. Throw Hamza in and start with FOUR defensive midfielders!
  12. People have zero attention spans either way. Like you said, when we won the league we were the darlings of world football yet how many of those people still care? When we sacked Ranieri, we were hated, people no longer care. This will be the same, in a month's time, no one will care either way except from the fans of teams like Forest/Coventry/Derby etc who ironically enough CLAIM to not care.
  13. Fossehub basically watched the talksport interview with their "expert" saying we COULD still get a deduction this season IF we broke rules last year and has translated that into we are likely looking at one for breaching rules last season.
  14. There was no ambiguity in the rules. The question was whether or not, given how the rules were written, they could punish us for breaking them and it was found that they couldn't. It's actually a little embarrassing to consider that when the PL wrote the rules on FFP, it never crossed their mind that a team would be so inept and poorly run that they would breach PSR and still be relegated. We showed them!
  15. We DID break the rules! We just used ambiguity in the wording of those rules to escape punishment. It's the equivalent of commiting a crime in this country then moving to a non extradition country before the charges are filed.
  16. So basically, because we were so sh!t at breaking FFP, we can't be punished for breaking FFP. It's beautiful in a way.
  17. Don't think there was ever any truth in this. AL Hilal don't have any foreign spots left in their squad as I understand it.
  18. He was our best CM today.
  19. Without ever looking like winning, we weren't that bad. We ran, pressed and pushed them into positions they didn't like and won the ball high up the pitch, it's just a shame that the lack of creative players from the start meant that we couldn't do anything with it. At the end of the day, plating well off the ball like this means nothing if we never look like hurting them and it'll only be a matter of time before someone makes a mistake and we go behind. This one is on Cooper. More than that though, I feel we are being the result of a poor pre-season. We never got the players we needed in on time. They've not been able to settle in the team, we've not figured out our best formation, haven't develiped passinh habits and the players haven't gelled yet. Had this all happened when it should have in the off season, we would be in a different place because in truth, a lot of the players we signed look decent. Ayew done what he was brought in for, Okoli looked half decent with a few brain-farts in there too and Skipp was our best CM. All in all, we are were I thought we would be but it's frustrating as we could easily have been in a better position
  20. Did you stop reading after the first five words? Lol.
  21. I'm fairly happy with this. He wasn't good at Celtic, he was phenomenal and his record with France u21's is nothing short of spectacular. Granted, both those levels are significantly below the PL and yes, it's not really worked out at Palace but there's a player there and if there is a chance that a new manager, new club and new start can get that out of him. It's worth taking. He also offers something different from our current strikers. I would certainly prefer him over the other potential signings we could have realistically made today.
  22. You want to have a guess at what number he will be?
  23. The mixture of seeing what he did at Celtic and an all time low in expectations has left me fairly happy with this.
  24. Well... atleast we don't have to go through the entire season worrying about being relegated. It's done. Even without a points deduction so by the time it actually happens we should have made piece with it.
  25. If that twere the case, it would have made more sense to play the kids. Give Cannon, Mcateer, Alves, Braybrooke and Nelso a year of PL football. That way there would be a chance of them being great in th champ next season or even increased their value to be sold.
