  1. That's what I was thinking. We had/are about to have a meeting with the PL about it aren't we so it might be us adjusting to new policy.
  2. Anyone watched Monsters, the Menendez brothers story? I think it's VERY dramatised in terms of being accurate but some of the acting is amazingly good. Ep.5 in particular.
  3. I'm in no way an advocate for violence but that's riot material.
  4. This is being painted by the media and Man City like some sort of victory for Man City but in actuality, they lost all but two of their challenges against the PL's charges, including the one that insisted their rules for ATP was prejudice against Arab state owned clubs.
  5. Possibly, from a mental viewpoint but he certainly played a different role at Bologna than he is playing now.
  6. He appears to have accepted that he just isn't one of these fullbacks who can bomb forward. When he sits back and focuses on what he's good at, he's much better. It's a shame. Had he accepted this role last year under Maresca, like Enzo wanted him to do, he would be viewed rather differently by our fan base.
  7. He'll rip up the Championship with us next season.
  8. As long as all the major leagues do it, I'm definitely in favour. The reason it never worked before is we were the only league to do it. It makes sense that the squad is settled and focused on the season without the distractions of transfers.
  9. It really annoys me that I'm going to watch this today. I don't want to. I know it's just going to piss me off but I can't help it. I'll watch anyway and that pisses me off even more.
  10. Got to treat yourself every now and then.
  11. Yeah, I was thinking that for Leicester based folk. I'm pretty lucky being an hour from Glasgow for that sort of thing. I've seen him once before and it's definitely worth it though.
  12. All of a sudden, I'm in the mood to watch Red Dwarf.
  13. Hans Zimmer tickets went on presale today. I got mine for Glasgow. I HIGHLY recommend going. It's a phenomenal show.
  14. Even if they were successful in doing it... there still isn't any money in it so it's not sustainable. The only way to make money in Scottish football is commercially and no team outside the OF have the fanbase for it The only way it could be done is if a major celeb bought a club and used their status to bring revenue via sponsorships and an increased global audience like what we are seeing at Wrexham.
  15. Wow! Dallas are fcuking dreadful! Can't stop the run. Can't finish drives. Brandon Aubrey will be one busy boy this year.
  16. This lot? They are actually saying "booouuurrns"
  17. I think the strangest thing about Ayew and Justin starting is that Ayew AND Justin are starting. Surely if you have a more defensive forward like Ayew, you can afford to have a more attacking FB, or vice versa. If you have a defensive FB like JJ, a more attacking threat like Fatawu makes sense. Having both defensive options start against Everton seems unnecessary.
  18. Did you steal your floor from a 90's school gym hall?
  19. He's played well so far. Makes more forward runs than I expected.
  20. It wasn't working though.... not tactically anyway. We were under pressure the whole second half and an equaliser looked like an inevitability from the 50th minute mark onward. Yet, Cooper done nothing to combat it until the 80th odd minute. His two subs before that were like for like. the only reason we hadn't conceeded was down to the players, both ours and theirs. Just hoping and praying that we don't concede isn't something a PL manager should be opting for, not from the 50th minute anyway. He got it wrong, pure and simple. Whether it was Coady making a silly error or someone turning off at the back post, the chances of it happening are much higher if you just invite pressure for a whole half without doing anything to combat it.

  22. No. Like I said in a previous comment, just praying we can hold on for 40 minutes instead of working out and addressing why we were being tactically humped isn't worthy of any credit. Had we won that game, it would have been in spite of Cooper, not because of him.
  23. We tried to see the game out for the last 40 MINUTES! We were being completely over run, never looked like scoring and the equaliser was a formality! Yet, Cooper didn't address it in any way what so ever! Just praying we can hold on isn't a viable tactical gameplan.
  24. Cooper is pathetic. Anyone with eyes could see that, that equaliser had been coming from the 50th minute onward and he done absolutely nothing to change it. Then two like for like subs in the 70th odd minute, again not addressing the tactical issue and just hoping to hold on until finally going even more defensive and bringing on another CB. I wasn't totally against him coming in but he's an absolute clown!
  25. He's spineless! Absolute coward! We were getting hammered all half and instead of changing it tactically he went like for like with his sups and hoped we could hold on before going even more defensive.
