  1. No better than VK and he is bang average too
  2. Probably his last big contract and absolutely no chance he’s taking less than a 3 year deal - we will be insisting on a relegation clause too so it will come down to other offers and if he wants to leave - should know any day I believe !
  3. Looked like Faes Mk II to me - a car crash….
  4. Better value than signing Rodon from spurs !
  5. I wonder if Ngolo would fancy a couple of seasons back in England - based upon last night he was amazing and exactly what we need !!
  6. Edited for you !
  7. JR is one of a small number including Susan, Top and Martyn Glover so JR comes into an unfair amount of criticism as its a collaborative process - like any well ran football club its not a one man or lady issue!
  8. I think I might be alone in this thinking or maybe I am just a glass half full! our football club has been the most successful outside the top 6 in the last 10 years - has a fabulous family owner - has infrastructure like the training ground which is second to none - has developed despite the scepticism youth and has a pipeline - won instant return after relegation and still has significant platform to grow from i do not quite understand why potter or the like would not see this as a fantastic opportunity - granted we may have a penalty hovering over us but this squad base is good enough with some excellent additions to stay up and then grow……baffles me why so many fans think we are a basket case ……
  9. Well firstly he is 25 and will only be 26 next season - secondly which players do you have in mind ? we should keep him at all cost imo as we can clear others out before selling our assets - if he -lays and kicks on he will be worth £60m+ and we need players who want to be here and will fight which KDH will do plus he has quality it is hard to find with goal scoring and assist capability being irreplaceable.
  10. Legend is thrown around too often but Sharky is a proper legend whilst also being a proper nice guy and gentlemen - if he chooses to carry on he would be a great signing for a championship club looking to build a spirit and see how a true pro applies himself. we have had lots of quality players come and go over the past 5 years with more natural ability but none of them are fit to lace this man’s boots - he never gave anything less than 100% and was underestimated by so many teams we played ! Enjoy whatever comes next Marc and hope we see you alongside some of that great 15-16 team in the coming years !!
  11. Because he does not have that doughnut BR trying to turn him into Pirlo……plus he has just regained his confidence - do not underestimate the prem experience we will need - personally I would resign him on sensible terms but it’s all about opinions
  12. I would put him back in his original position in CDM as we will need a shield and cover for the back four - still his best role and hopefully we get a manager who has a way we can play with and without the ball!!
  13. Based upon what ? Where is your basis for such a comment ? You’re talking absolute drivel…….. KP run a successful global business and whilst I can understand 3 years is one year too many - we do not know the terms of YV deal ..we would need to replace him if he left - find an international defender, who you can guarantee will settle for say £10m which is a 3 year deal at £65-70k per week………….
  14. Let’s overreact ……🫣 club is only where we are because of those at the top ………….not going bankrupt whilst they are here ….i wish fans would realise how lucky we are
  15. Get shot he didn’t want to be here - was poor when we went down - attitude stunk, did not integrate well in the squad so move home on - we will get other offers !
  16. Glad they don’t tbh - based upon the fans views on here we would be a serious car crash - Top and pop have been great for this football club and when it has come to appointments they have got more right than wrong! To get back up first time of asking when you consider how long it took us to get there until they arrived - we spent many years drifting directionless - hopefully they have the same success this season !
  17. £100m
  18. LIke win the Europa Conference do you mean or turn the irons into a respectable Top 8 club......then No
  19. A lot easier to do it if we can survive the first season ….i do take your point but job one is survival and financially that stabilises us then we start building plus the youth players coming through over the next 18 months like Alves and Braybrooke will help
  20. Don’t care about being entertained as the last season was painful….to survive next season it will be finding a formula to compete - give me moyes over all the names on the list above ….he is a top prem manager and we should make him our no.1 target as he will do a good job somewhere in the prem in the next 12 months
  21. I think Moyes would really suit this squad as we have players who could operate like the hammers without overplaying in the prem plus 4 or 5 additions with a couple of those being loan players - I would take for example a Cresswell as a leader …..all about opinions but him and Nolan would absolutely give us a chance of staying up
  22. I think James, Chilwell, Fofana can all step in and play he will have an abundance of talent at his disposal - he won’t come knocking for anyone other than Mads - however if Rudkin has any sense negotiating a couple of loans from Chelsea would be worthwhile just not Casadei - Washington or Fofana up front maybe options
  23. Why not moyes intrigued why?
  24. We need stability and someone who will work with a sensible budget but recognise that primary job is to keep us up next season and then build - genuinely don’t think EM would have had a chance here next season as he is wed to one way and whilst that is admirable our players struggled to adapt in the championship and the next step is huge. pragmatism suggests a David Moyes who brings a huge wealth of experience and kept an Everton side up for years and also turned the hammers into a decent side - if we could attract him I would definitely go for him - he knows this division like the back of his hand and with Nolan would bring the squad together and wheel and deal fantastically - Bowen, Paqueta were jewels he found and whilst his football can be mediocre he will get results and I think he will be really motivated for one last gig and sticking it up the hammers will drive him!
  25. might be a long wait
