Noticed when Vardy went down on the weekend, Winks and Cooper appeared to be having a tactical discussion of some sorts, which ended with Winks throwing his arms around frustratedly. The signs aren’t great, and he clearly dosen’t have the rapport with, or respect of the squad that Enzo did.

Yep, and I don’t see Unai or the Villa board and recruitment making the same mistakes our lot did either.

It is a little strange/concerning that the players hang back from him when he applauds the fans after the game, and do it separately afterwards. I’m pretty sure with Maresca everyone would go over together.

The Giza Greaves. Nah he looks bang average tbh, even in Egypt his goal record was nothing special.

Alongside Vardy, he’s one of the few players I feel fully represents the “spirit” of the club. Loyal, hard working, down to earth, and better than given credit for technically.

All the talk from Feyenoord fans is that he’s a player who needs to play in team who has a lot of the ball and creates a lot of chances to flourish. On that basis he probably wouldn’t be a good fit for either us or Forest. More of a finisher with a poor all round game.

True, though prices paid these days in the premier league are ridiculous across the board. Though Fofana, Maddison, and (less so) Tielemans were similar or more money and were far from proven players at the time.

We got that with Reid and Ayew - mediocrity. Our success however was built mostly off of similar young gambles and unknown prospects.

Yeah, I think it will come with time. Still had some good moments.

Fatawu needs to calm down a bit. I think he’s overthinking it, rather than playing off his instincts as he was last year.
