No chance we score with that line up.
-
Must be going with those he expects to be here next year.

This is probably true. There’s similar in my generation too (those of us who grew up with mid 2000’s football) who reminisce about a premier league with teams like Charlton, Wigan, and Bolton who were seen as pretty tinpot at the time.

May be a Rudders masterclass to make keeping him on suddenly a popular move. -

Top must be stuck in 2013 when Southampton were the model club to try and emulate. Really is ridiculous how many of their cast offs in terms of both players and staff we have taken since appointing Puel, especially when we have finished above them in every single one of those seasons. I’m sure Russell will finally be the man to break that trend.

Hopefully this is another Preki moment. Please no.

Turning into a bit of a shithouse. Love it

What a depressing list. Hoping they get O’Neil to get one uninspiring, dull choice off Rudders’ list.

This “proper club” thing seems to correlate with how long a team has been outside of the Premier League. Guarantee if we spend a decade or 2 out of it, the consensus will be that we are a proper club who they’d like to see back in the league, even before 2015 there was a lot of PL fans saying this about us, a lot of it is a novelty thing. Everyone was rooting for Brentford and Bournemouth before they got promoted, now they are (wrongly) seen as what’s wrong with the league.

Nothing squad, nothing mentalities.

Skipp is so bad

His best cameo yet.

Spanish walk out anthems are very impressive, especially when they sing them acapella. That’s the thing, no one is saying we have to give up our traditional chants and English way of support and start schalalalalaing like a bunch of Schalke fans, it’s just about congregating like minded people.

Swansea one might be my favourite.
-
Agreed. Corners, chances, dribbles etc still get cheered on like in England. They also tend to be the parts that the rest of the stadium join in with, making these parts even louder.

It’s gonna be such a shit off that I think we will cancel each other out, coupled with the fact we can’t score a goal. Nil nil all over it. -
English support is broken beyond repair, every time an English team plays someone from Europe, they are given a lesson in support. The only retort being “what the fookin hell is that?”, as they then continue to sit in silence. Some of ours will blame things like boring stadium design, yet in Germany alone Magdeburg, Dresden, Hansa Rostock, Aachen play in stadiums almost identical to ours, yet just compare the atmosphere. i can’t think of a single time I’ve been impressed with a domestic away support since Covid. Leeds last year were probably the best of the lot.

Wouldn’t mind Colby Bishop as some depth up front, alongside hopefully another more established one (and Daka outgoing).
-
Player who was a starter in the majority of 2 relegation campaigns thinks he is above the championship. Our squad is full of arrogant, unlikeable pricks, most who joined with the intention of using the club as a stepping stone without the ability to back it up.
-
Excellent work rate, and pretty strong for a small guy.
-
Chelsea fans really turning against Enzo now. Can’t see him lasting much longer.
-
Last time Liverpool had an atmosphere was from the PSG fans at anfield.
-
Fulham, Brentford, Brighton etc would give us a run for our money. Ours should be a lot better though given the fanbase size. Preston away shows the potential is there.

The anthem has been the only time a chant has been sung by more than 1 part of the ground a time this season.
