Much better today, best home game of the season for me

If we go up the defence needs massive investment. Doyle has done well but the rest of em clearly not good enough

Players look knackered, struggling with simple passes.

So predictable when we’re chasing the game. Out to the wingers, who either cut in and shoot/whip in a hopeful cross to the back post or play it to the centre mids running inside. So easy to sus out.

Daka only scores weird/ugly goals, and screws up every conventional chance. Even more so than Okazaki. Though with VAR you’d like to think we’d have gone 2-0 up and seen it out.

KDH is really fantastic at holding off defenders. Been doing it all season and it’s lead to countless goals.

So many of our best performers this season all had off days. Our wing play is getting a bit predictable, especially when we are chasing a goal.

Ending a transfer window with 1 LESS player in a position we were already light in. Pure genius, well played

Still not forgiven him for the poor pass through to Mcateer after his excellent pressing work. A better pass there and it’s 2-0. Dewsbury- Hall was guilty of the same poor layoffs a couple of times in the first half where a better pass almost guaranteed a goal, though his looked more like someone caught in 2 minds about whether to pass or shoot rather than purely miss hit passes.

It’s more that they don’t have the parental influence to either follow their local team or to go to games live. Also quite a few actually do follow their parents team, it’s just that their parents were Liverpool glory hunters in the 70’s

I don’t understand this obsession with being near the away fans. Most traditional ends in this country, as well as ultra groups abroad aren’t right next to the away fans.

Enzo criticism is very harsh. 45 minutes plying with 10 men defending a 1 goal lead puts the odds against the best of sides and managers. Only a 5th of games are won by a team with a red, and that’s at any time.

I Don’t think the first half performance is an indication of how we’d have done with 11x11. So many times this season we’ve held back until getting that first goal, then torn teams to shreds after that in the second half.

Yep, his runs forward create so much space for us, even when the pass doesn’t end up going his way

Really exciting half to watch, plenty of good individual performances. Deswbury Hall has been immense. Daka needs to be greedier and more instinctive, he’s been played in a few times and tried to be too clever.

Predictable

The players and Enzo’s morale seem off today judging by body language and the amount of arguing going on.

Nice to have a ref who knows when to let play flow and isn’t overly finicky over quick free kicks etc
