I hope we manage to go 1 nil up at some stage on Monday. We can then start singing, We are staying up. Say we are staying up. -
That's ironic, my post was a joke too.

Sods law kicks in though. I stayed indoors all day waiting for a courier once. At one stage I popped into the back garden very briefly, I returned to see the van pulling away. He must have pulled up as I walked out the back door, rang the bell once and then jumped back in his van and off.

You might want to delete that. Some folk have been jailed for posting stuff like that only very recently.

Worst season in the clubs history incoming.

I see some of the pundits are weirdly optimistic for us. Chris Sutton thinks we will be well organised under Cooper and we are the best equiped of the promoted clubs to be stay up. Already reminding me of the misguided and blind loyalty many 'experts' had for us when we were spiralling out of control under Rodgers. -

My sister and a friend who both live in the Western Park area, have had loads this year too. -

I still have a mark on our living room wall from when I threw the TV remote down on the sofa so hard, it bounced up and hit the wall

Strewth! I've heard a few people have a pop at older folk on these forums. Ageism, the one 'ism' that isn't shouted down.

I walked into the loos at the Adult Ed centre on Bishops St once and was greeted with the same thing.

So are Tranmere. -
At least they know which thread to check first when they get up in the morning.

Took my then 3 youngsters to see Wolf and Jet from the original show back in the 90s, open a store. Jet came up to one of my lads, who I was holding, and went to give him a kiss, he turned away. I said you can kiss me if you like but she walked off.

I remember driving past a street in Birmingham called Dog Poo Lane. It was sometime later I was informed it should read Dog Pool Lane. Locals had been obliterating the L for years.

Positive story.

I remember a 1500m race at an Olympic event some years ago, where a runner came not only last but way, way behind the others. He received a massive ovation from the crowd. Folk admire triers, folk who may not be winners on the day but who are still determined to go out there, give it their best and carry-on. That takes tremendous guts and strength of character. Your team may be struggling and perhaps your own form has dipped at the moment but be in the moment. It's a smashing game, you're fit enough to play it and it often takes place in lovely surroundings. Take that environment in. Good luck.

And whilst we're at it; Bob Holness of 'Blockbusters' fame, played sax on Gerry Rafferty's 'Baker Street'

I would delete that post if I was you. Social services and child protection might be watching.

I reckon the absolute best we can hope for this season is, we scrape past Derby's lowest ever points total in the premier and we somehow finish off the bottom - though we will be certainly in the bottom three.
-
You dont know how to do it, do you?
