West Brom (H) 2-1 Post-Match Thread
Bob Hazels shorts replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm not sure if the original plan was for a back 3 and Hamza as a a last ditch defensive CM but that's how it panned out. We all know what he's good at. -
What would it take to turn on the owners?

Great idea, there's never enough protests. You be first waiting outside the clubs entrance and start the protest and we'll be behind you Protest against spending too much on players in both signing on and salary in the quest for success. Mismanaged at the top, but failed by a shyster manager who they placed too much faith in and wanted out. -

A moron or a post 2009 (or 2015/16) supporter that hasn't seen failure up until the wheels falling off under Brenda and blind faith by the board in him and Rudkin. Rodgers was begging to be payed off in his final 2 years and systematically killed us, we were trapped with him due to FFP!! Ridiculous situation Vichai's heavenly 66th today. The clubs generosity (mixed with naivety) has been our recent downfall Expensive plaything -
Who are these people? I find it funny that some people couldn't see that the players did react to and were influenced by supporters Clearly our two main outlets are our wingers who have been starved of service (in Faes case almost vindictive) If the players didn't tweak their style of play subconsciously to win the game why was Enzo so noticeably perturbed on the touchline and repeatedly reeled out his 'my way or i'm on the highway; in the media again?

Bristol City 1 - 0 LCFC Post Match Thread

He's 37 and spends most time in midfield with 7 other players. Possibly knackered and not 100% focused when allowed to do what he's good at -

There's nowhere to move to. We play with a back 3 with no width, midfield flooded so we can win the (meaningless) pass stats Wingers are visibly hacked off as get no support or protection from behind them and spend most of their wasted time defending -
We could have changed/ subbed 50% of our outfield players with the £95m we had on them bench Most supports have be pro Hamza, he’s not up to playing as a IRB though Him ineffectively crowding out midfield offers Fatawu no support or protection. it also drags Faes out wide. Major achievement to not get promoted with our squad
-
Bin the inverted right back role. It was sussed ages ago we are not good enough. Our wingers clearly need support and protection. Playing a FB in an overcrowded midfield for the sake of stats and to fuel Enzos obsession with Pep is crazy. Even Rodgers was flexible on occasions (FA cup final win)
-
Best by his standards and made to look better surrounded by dross We all know what he’s good at and his limitations, Enzo obviously doesn’t
-
Absolutely no loss looking at the games he played previously and (not) since + the length of his current contract. Hardly going to set the world alight Bizarre target

Union FS - Tifo for Jamie Vardy
Bob Hazels shorts replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Good point Last game before he leaves (looks inevitable now, Saudi big payday?) and we are hopefully promoted? Totally in favour of it, who wouldn't be? but I'd consider all players equally significant and critical for us until the end of the season -
I often read that Ricardo has made the IRB role HIS own. He has his qualities. Hamza's is that of last gasp attack destroying tackles usually as a sub to run games down. He has a role to play but he really isn't up to the dual role he's being asked to do as opposition have sussed. Play him as RB or even Faes (to unincorporate Coady) that allows any of the back 4 to step up if allowed.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Bob Hazels shorts replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The club is massive to us and no doubt King Power but they do have other things going on Blind faith in Rudkin and Rudkins blind faith in the snake oil salesman Rodgers has cost us. Look at Rodgers signings and what value we got out of them and weep!! Him and his sons involvement in dumping Bertrand on us is criminal, PL should be investigating that. Top (and his Mum) do have ultimate control but they pay directors an obscene amount of money to sort and prevent these issues. -

We should be given points for the dross the snake oil salesman Brenda bought. Either not fit for purpose, not used, left or not up to it 1 decent signing of BR choice in Castagne who walked away for £15m and Fofana who forced his way into the club then promptly forced his way out of it -
He’s a last ditch, reactive DM Pointing that out is childishly classed as hate Most can see that he’s not a RB and certainly not a IRB He doesn’t pick himself and may be a lovely chap but we are weakened with a massive hole on our right as the first 3 today proved

Blind faith by Enzo in believing a player not wanted by Watford can play a double role Role is specific for an exceptional player Faes can’t cover CB and the vacant big hole at RB -

Watch it again 👓 -
He’s one of our own so criticism is not allowed He’s not good enough as a RB let alone a IRB Hamza 2 - LCFC 0
-
No, but those who know football may be a bit concerned watching Ipswich hammer a poor admittedly SWFC whilst entertaining Not a inverted RB in sight
-
Agree 100% Hamza didn't offer an outlet causing Faes error thinking he was Beckenbauer for the first goal, could've put a block in on the second. Requires exceptional talent and levelheadedness to understand and play IRB, best will in the world... Coady has played many times every level for England and Enzo describes him as his most influential player, surely incorporate him and allow Fatuwa to do what he does best with Ricardo out
-
He was our best defender against Sunderland and spent the first half yesterday filling the vacant RB role again Not best use of him? When the Hamza and Faes roam-around covered the RB space Fatuwa did what he does best
-
He had a better second half as Hamza actually contributed to the defence
-
Defence not good enough to play as a back three Hamza offers nothing again as a RB and very little pottering around in midfield
-
I'm a massive fan of what Hamza does best. If no Pereira do we persevere with the inverted RB role that failed so miserably last night? QUOTE ROB TANNER 'Liverpool have Trent Alexander-Arnold and Arsenal use Oleksandr Zinchenko in similar, but not identical, ways. It requires an intelligent, versatile and adaptable player. And at Leicester, that responsibility is usually given to Pereira'.
