I’d use Vards on the right this season, take the pressure off him a bit scoring, he’s too good technically to be on the bench, and with him Barnes and Daka fairly formidable! Not long term option though!

I think the manager should be paid more than the players, it’s a hierarchy thing! I think he will stay put for now, easy going owners, good team etc, why would he want to work for a Russian and find the old horses head in his bed one morning!

I would be making him spend as much time with Vardy as possible over the next 18months, letting Jamie share some of his footballing brain! Could with some self confidence and belief be our Vardy replacement??
